거꾸로 수업이 고등학교 수학 학습에 미치는 영향 : 자기 주도적 학습, 학습태도, 수업만족도 변화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 학교 현장에서는 전통적인 수업방식에서 벗어나 다양하고 보다 효율적인 수업환경을 만들기 위해 많은 교사들이 노력중이다. 기존의 전통적인 강의식 수업에 대한 문제점을 극복하여 배움의 주체인 학습자가 중심이 되는 수업인 거꾸로 수업이 현재, 그리고 미래의 수업에 더욱 적절한 수업방법 중 하나가 될 것이다.
본 연구에서는 경기도 광명시에 소재한 고등학교 2학년 총 4개 반, 116명을 대상으로 강의식 수업과 거꾸로 수업을 적용하여 수업을 진행하였다. 1차 지필평가 이전은 강의식 수업을, 이후 2차 지필평가 이전은 거꾸로 수업을 적용하였는데, 비교 집단을 두기 위하여 두 개 반은 1, 2차 지필평가 모두 강의식 수업으로 진행하였다.
연구 결과를 통해, 본 연구에서는 거꾸로 수업이 학생들의 성적을 향상시키거나 수업만족도를 높이는데 그 효과가 미미하지만 자기 주도적 학습능력과 학습태도, 그리고 학급의 성적 격차를 줄이는데 효과적임을 확인하였다. 따라서 경쟁보다 협력이 중요한 요소로 떠오르는 미래의 수업 환경에서 거꾸로 수업은 학습자가 보다 적극적인 자세로 수업에 참여하고 스스로 공부하는 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 수업으로 학생들이 서로 협력하여 보다 나은 결과를 이끌어내는 질 좋은 대안수업으로 고려해보아야 할 필요가 있음을 밝힐 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently in school teaching fields, teachers are making efforts to escape from traditional teaching method to create various and effective classroom environment. Flipped learning which overcame the problems of existing traditional lecture method and centered the learner who is the principal of the learning is and would function as the next appropriate learning method in class of present and future.
In this research, 116 high school 2nd grade students from 4 classes located in Gwangmyeong city, Gyeonggi province had participate in traditional lecture teaching method and flipped learning classes. Two classes applied lecture method before 1st paper examination and flipped learning before 2nd paper examination and the remaining other classes only applied lecture method before 1st and 2nd paper examination to be set as a comparative group.
Through these results, this research proved that flipped learning has low effect in improving students’ grades or satisfying class satisfaction but very effective in improving self-directed learning, learning attitude and reducing the class grade differences. Therefore, in future classroom environment, where cooperation is much more important element than competition, flipped learning should be considered as a qualified alternative teaching method to have students cooperate each other to make better results and have the learner to participate in class actively and enhance self-directed learning ability.
