Purpose of this study is to examine the relation among complex trauma experience in childhood-Adolescence, interpersonal trauma in adulthood, dissociation experience, relationship addiction, internalized shame. Specifically, verify mediating effects of dissociation experience, relationship addiction and internalized shame on relation of complex trauma experience in childhood-Adolescence and interpersonal trauma in adulthood. The participants in the study were 300 adults and Trauma Antecedents Questionnaire(TAQ), Impact of Event Scale-Revised Korean version(IES-R-K), The Dissociative Experiences Scale(DES), Relationship Addiction Questionnaire(RAQ-30), Internalized Shame Scale(ISS) were used for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, structural equation models were used.
The major results are as follows: dissociation experience, relationship addiction and internalized shame mediated between complex trauma experience in childhood-Adolescence and interpersonal trauma in adulthood. Implications and limitations of this study were discussed. In addiction, suggestions for future study were presented.
