경남 함양군 촌락 가옥의 유형에 관한 연구 = A Study on the types of rural housing : the case of Hamyang-gun Gyeongsangnam-do in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재, 촌락에는 대표적인 가옥의 유형을 판단하기가 어려울 정도로 다양한 유형의 가옥들이 관찰된다. 촌락의 민가에 대한 연구와는 다르게 본 연구는 지붕 형태 및 재료와 외벽 재료를 중심으로 경남 함양군의 촌락 가옥을 유형화하여 한국의 현대 촌락 경관을 이해하려고 한다. 먼저 가옥의 분류를 위한 기준을 설정하고 현장 조사를 바탕으로 지붕 형태, 지붕 재료, 외벽 재료를 종합하여 가옥 유형별로 가옥의 특성을 분석하였다. 단일양식지붕 가옥은 결합양식지붕 가옥보다 많았고 단일양식지붕 가옥에서는 팔작지붕, 맞배지붕, 우진각지붕, 단순평지붕, 맞배형펜션지붕 등이 다수를 차지하였다. 지붕 재료로 단일자재를 사용한 가옥이 복수자재를 사용한 가옥보다 많았고 컬러강판, 아스팔트싱글, 시멘트, 인조슬레이트, 기와 등의 사용 빈도가 높았다. 외벽 재료로 단일자재를 사용한 가옥이 복수자재를 사용한 가옥보다 많았고 시멘트, 벽돌, 패널, 벽돌·시멘트 등의 사용 빈도가 높았다. 지붕 형태, 지붕 재료, 외벽 재료를 단계적으로 고려하여 가옥 유형별 특성을 분석한 결과, 팔작지붕-컬러강판-시멘트 가옥, 단순평지붕-시멘트-벽돌 가옥, 우진각지붕-인조슬레이트-시멘트 가옥, 팔작지붕-기와-시멘트 가옥, 팔작지붕-컬러강판-벽돌･시멘트 가옥, 맞배지붕-아스팔트싱글-패널 가옥, 맞배형펜션지붕-아스팔트싱글-패널 가옥, 맞배지붕-컬러강판-시멘트 가옥 등이 연구 지역의 대표적 가옥 유형으로 밝혀졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Today in korea, various types of housing are observed in the rural settlement. Thus, it is very difficult to find out the typology of rural housing. Unlike previous research largely focusing on folk housing, this study tries to understand the landscape of a Korean comtemporary countryside by classifying rural housing in ten villages of Hamyang-gun in Gyeongsangnam-do, with special reference to the shape of roof and the roof and wall materials. For this study, firstly, the standards of how to classify housing are set. Then, the characteristics of rural housing in each type are analyzed based on the field work for roof shapes and roof/wall materials. The single-style roof type is found more prominently than the combined-style roof type. The single roof and wall materials are found more frequently than the plural materials. The most prominent type is the hipped-and-gable roof housing with precoated steel plate(roof materials) and cement(exterior wall materials); the second, the simple-flat roof housing with cement and brick; the third, the hipped roof housing with artificial slate and cement; the fourth, the hipped-and-gable roof housing with roof tile and cement.
