재한 외국인 유학생의 진로결정태도에 관한 연구 = The study on the career decision attitude of the international students in korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국정부의 ‘Study Korea Project’ 유치 정책에 의해 2000년 이후부터 한국으로 유입되고 있는 외국인 유학생들은 지속적으로 한국정부에 수익을 창출하고 있는 대상들이다. 또한 이들은 향후 한국의 저출산과 고령화 시대에 있어 한국 국내 인력의 수요를 충족할 수 있는 잠재적 인력이기도 하다. 이런 잠재력 가능성을 가진 재한 외국인 유학생은 한국의 언어, 문화 등에 매력을 느껴 한국 유학을 선택하고 한국 내 대학에 진학하여 공부하고 있으나 정작 이들의 한국어능력, 대학생활적응, 학업만족도, 학업성취도는 진로결정에 어려움을 보이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국 내 대학의 학부과정 및 학부 졸업 후 구직활동(D-10비자 소지자)단계에 있는 외국인 유학생들의 진로결정태도요인을 분석하였으며, 구체적으로 설문조사를 통한 예비조사와 SPSS 23.0과 다중회귀분석의 통계 프로그램 패키지를 통해 한국어능력, 대학생활적응, 학업만족도, 학업성취도 요인과 진로결정태도 간의 상관관계와 진로결정태도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 향후 재한 외국인 유학생에게 진로결정에 필요한 정부와 대학의 지원의 필요성을 제시하여 이들의 진로가 단순히 취업이 아닌 졸업 후 미래 삶의 방향으로 설정하고 궁극적으로 졸업 후의 진로결정에 도움을 주고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

According to the international student attracting policy 'Study Korea Project' of Korean government, international students in Korea are increasing day by day, after the implementation of above-mentioned policy in year 2000. Moreover, those international students are also the potential that may fulfill the short domestic man power in the age of low fertility and elderly society of Korea, in the future. Those potential international students are fascinated by the Korean language and culture etc, and entered into the korean school in term to persue their higher education in Korea. But, they are experiencing difficulties to decide their career due to the korean language competency, adaptation korean school life, satisfaction on their studies, achievement and etcetera.
Therefore, in this study I analysed the factors of deciding career, such as, korean language proficiency, adaptation korean school life, satisfaction on studies, achievements, correlation between the attitude of deciding career and influence of attitude of deciding career of international students, by analysing the attitude of international undergraduate students and the international student who are in the stage of job searching (D-10 visa holders) toward deciding their career, via pilot questionnaire survey and questionnaire survey, SPSS 23.0 and utilizing the analyzing program package of 'multiple regression analysis'. Based on the analysis result, I suggest the need of support from the korean government and schools for international students to decide their career, in future. So I would like to give help for their career decision after the graduation as they set their career not only for the employment but for the future life direction after the graduation.
