보육교사의 놀이성과 음률지도 적극성 : 음률활동에 대한 태도의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 놀이성이 음률활동에 대한 태도, 음률지도 적극성과 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴보는 것이었다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구 고찰을 통해 보육교사의 음률활동에 대한 태도가 이들의 놀이성과 음률지도 적극성의 관계를 매개한다고 보고 이를 밝혀보고자 하였다.
연구를 수행하기 위해 서울과 경기, 인천지역의 어린이집에 재직하고 있는 보육교사 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 교사의 놀이성을 측정하기 위하여 박현숙(2003)이 수정·번안하고 요인분석을 통해 타당화 한 Glynn과 Webster(1992)의 성인용 놀이성 척도를 사용하였다. 교사의 음률활동에 대한 태도는 Shannon(1999)의 태도 척도를 장은주(2007)가 번역하고 수정 · 보완한 ‘유아음악교육에 대한 교사의 태도’도구를 사용하였다. 교사의 음률활동 지도 적극성의 측정은 Wilcox-Herzog와 Ward(2004)가 개발한 교수 적극성 척도를 본 연구자가 번안하고 음률지도의 적극성에 맞게 수정·보완하여 사용하였다.
수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 각 변인에 대한 기술적 통계치를 산출하였으며 주요변인 간의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 Pearson의 상관분석을 실시하였다. 보육교사의 놀이성이 음률활동에 대한 교사의 태도를 매개로 음률지도 적극성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 절차에 의한 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 놀이성과 음률활동에 대한 태도, 음률지도 적극성은 교사의 변인에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 교사의 놀이성과 음률활동에 대한 태도, 음률지도 적극성 간에는 서로 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 놀이성은 음률활동에 대한 태도와 음률지도 적극성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 교사의 음률활동에 대한 태도의 매개 효과를 검증해 본 결과, 교사의 음률활동에 대한 태도는 교사의 놀이성과 음률지도 적극성의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구에서 보육교사의 음률활동에 대한 태도 증진의 필요성을 제기함으로써 교사들이 영유아교육기관에서 음률지도에 보다 적극성을 갖도록 하기 위해서는 예비교사교육과 현직교사교육을 통해 음률활동에 대한 태도를 증진시키고, 음률활동에 대한 태도를 긍정적으로 형성할 수 있도록 지원할 필요가 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relations among early childhood teachers’ playfulness and teaching intentions of music and movement. To attain the purpose of this study, I investigate that early childhood teachers’ playfulness is significant relationship to teaching intentions of music and movement, analyze that attitude towards music and movement mediated.
The subjects of this study included 200 teachers from early childhood institutions in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi. The instrumentations were used in this study; 1) The Adult Playfulness Scale (Glynn & Webster, 1992), 2) Attitude towards music and movement activity Scale (revised by Lee 2014; Shannon, 1999) and 3) Teaching Intentions of music and movement Scale (revised by Lee 2014; Wilcox-Herzog & Ward, 2004). Several types of methods were used to analyze the data collected from the study, these were as follows: reliability test, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation and analyzing mediated effect of Baron and Kenny (1986). SPSS 20.0 was the statistical software program used for the study.
The main results of this study were as follow:
First, early childhood teachers’ playfulness, teaching intentions of music and movement and attitude towards music and movement were high degree.
Second, early childhood teachers’ playfulness, teaching intentions of music and movement and attitude towards music and movement were showing the significant positive relationship.
Third, early childhood teachers’ playfulness significantly influenced teaching intentions of music and movement.
Finally, attitude towards music and movement mediated the relationship between early childhood teachers’ playfulness and teaching intentions of music and movement.
In conclusion, early childhood teachers’ playfulness influenced
significantly teaching intentions of music and movement which mediates attitude towards music and movement.
