This research aimed at investigating the effect of loss experience and impulsivity on chasing behavior in gambling game, and additionally investigated the change of emotion and irrational belief after loss on gambling. First, this research comprehended the which multiplication of principal they perceived as loss in gambling situation targeting male college students in the age of 20s, and verified the effect of loss experience on chasing behavior. Also, this research intended to verify the difference in chasing behavior since loss experience in high impulsive group and low impulsive group according to impulsive level. For this, the researcher planned a design between subjects 2(loss experience, one's money's worth) x 2(high impulsivity, low impulsivity), and measured total number of betting, the number of recharge, the number of All-in, total betting amount by utilizing slot machine game program to measure chasing behavior. As the analysis result, meaningful difference appeared in the number of recharge, the number of All-in, and total betting amount, which are the markers of chasing behavior in the loss experience and one's money's worth experience. Also, the number of recharge, number of All-in, and total betting amount appeared meaningfully high in case of loss in high impulsive group, compared to one's money's worth experience, however in case of low impulsive group, no meaningful difference appeared in the number of recharge, the number of All-in, and total betting amount in both cases of loss experience and one's money's worth experience. Also, as the result of investigating irrational change aspect of emotion and gambling after loss experience, negative emotion meaningfully increased after loss experience, however irrational belief in gambling meaningfully decreased. That is, loss experience in gambling game may cause chasing behavior, particularly, impulsivity was determined as a danger factor to maximize chasing behavior. Also, it was confirmed that the effect of negative emotion was more significant on chasing behavior since loss experience than irrational belief in gambling. This research has a significance that it determined gambling experience and individual personality that influences chasing behavior, which is considered as the marker observed in problem gambling and danger gambling, and the researcher considers this research can widen application scope clinically by verifying emotional intervention is preferentially necessary than cognitive intervention by considering the role of negative emotion in case of gambling problem intervention.
