    The purpose of this research is to examine the mediating effects of soothing-ability in the relation between parental rearing Attitude and college’s relationship addiction. Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire(PARQ), Self-soothing ability Scale, Relationship Addiction Scale were implemented. A total of 393 people’s Data were analyzed. The structure equation model analysis with AMOS was performed in order to verify of mediating effect.
    The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows.
    First, Parent’s rejective rearing attitude was negatively correlated with self-soothing ability, positively correlated with relationship addiction. Second, Self-soothing ability was negatively correlated with relationship addiction. Third, Self-soothing ability in the relationship between parent’s rejective rearing attitude and relationship addiction was indicated complete mediating effect.
