범죄에 대한 두려움이 범죄예방활동에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Fear of Crime on the Crime Prevention Activity

Humans are influenced by social and environmental factors, physical environment factors, influenced by the media. In particular, Fear of crime influenced by direct victim of a crime, indirect victims of crime and disorder of the surrounding environment. Therefore, in order to reduce their fears about crime in the crime prevention activity.
This study aimed it analyzed the fear of crime influencing crime prevention activity. So, using the secondary data(2006 Korea Areas Criminal Victimization Survey), Hierarchical Regression analysis found the effects of fear of crime(Neighborhood fear, disorder, direct/indirect victim of crime) is related with crime prevention activity.
As the result, the more physical disorder and social disorder are existed and fear of residential related crime are increased, the more crime prevention activities are conducted.
