정서인식의 명확성과 사회적 상호작용 불안의 관계에서 심리적 수용의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Psychological Acceptance on the Relationship between Emotional Clarity and Social Interaction Anxiety

국문 초록 (Abstract)

초 록

본 연구에서는 정서인식의 명확성과 사회적 상호작용 불안 사이의 관계에서 심리적 수용이 매개하는지를 구조방정식 모형으로 검증하고, 성별에 따른 차이가 존재하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대학생 403명(남자 134명, 여자 269명)으로 특질 상위 기분 척도(Trait Meta-Mood Scale), 수용-행동 질문지(Acceptance and Action Questionnaire), 사회적 상호작용 불안 척도(Social Interaction Anxiety Scale)의 자기 보고식 설문을 실시하였다. 분석방법으로는 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 18.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 성별에 따른 유의한 차이가 존재하는지 t-test를 실시한 결과, 정서인식의 명확성과 심리적 수용은 남성이 여성보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 반면, 사회적 상호작용 불안은 여성이 남성보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 둘째, 상관분석 결과 정서인식의 명확성은 심리적 수용과 유의미한 정적상관을, 사회적 상호작용 불안과는 유의미한 부적상관을 나타냈다. 또한 심리적 수용은 사회적 상호작용 불안과 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다. 셋째, 정서인식의 명확성과 사회적 상호작용 불안의 관계에서 심리적 수용의 매개효과 모형을 검증한 결과, 정서인식의 명확성이 심리적 수용을 거쳐서 사회적 상호작용 불안에 영향을 미치는 부분매개모형이 검증되었다. 넷째, 남녀 집단별 비교를 위해 다집단 분석을 실시한 결과, 남녀 모형 간에 차이가 있음이 검증되었다. 남녀 모두 심리적 수용이 정서인식의 명확성과 사회적 상호작용 불안 사이를 부분 매개는 하지만, 경로계수에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to verify the psychological acceptance as a mediator variable between emotional clarity and social interaction anxiety and to find whether there is any gender difference in structural equation modeling. The total of 403 university students(134 male, 269 female) participated in this study and completed the self-report survey of Trait Meta-Mood Scale(TMMS), Acceptance and Action Questionnaire(AAQ) and Social Interaction Anxiety Scale(SIAS). The results were analyzed with SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 18.0. The conclusion of this study is summarized as follows.
First, the t-test shows that there is significant difference between males and females, males show statistically significantly higher degrees of the emotional clarity and the psychological acceptance than females. But, females show statistically significantly higher degrees of the social interaction anxiety than males. Second, the analysis of correlation shows that: ⅰ) the emotional clarity positively correlates with the psychological acceptance, and negatively correlates with the social interaction anxiety significantly, and; ⅱ) the psychological acceptance negatively correlates with the social interaction anxiety significantly. Third, structural equation modeling analyses show that the emotional clarity affects the social interaction anxiety by the partial mediation of the psychological acceptance. Finally, multi-group analyses show that the partial mediation model of the psychological acceptance between the emotional clarity and the social interaction anxiety hold both in males and in females: but there is significant difference between males and females in path coefficient. In the conclusion, the implications and limits of this study were discussed, and future research directions were suggested.
