주제 중심 통합 교육을 위한 거문고 지도 방안 연구 = A Study on the Teaching Methods of Integration by the Subjects for Geomungo

국문 초록 (Abstract)

각 나라는 그 나라만의 고유한 언어․풍습․문화를 가지고 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 발전되어 온 음악 또한 다른 양상으로 구성되어 나타나게 된다. 또한 모든 유형․무형의 문화텍스트는 그것이 형성되는 토대로서의 구성원리․문법사유체계가 내재되어 있다. 이는 국악 역시 우리만이 느낄 수 있는 고유한 정서와 문화를 가지고 있으며, 이에 배경이 되는 여러 요소들을 총체적으로 운영할 때 우리문화의 바른 이해를 도모할 수 있음을 전제한다. 하지만 대부분의 음악수업은 악곡 위주의 내용 전달을 중점에 두며, 특히 국악기의 경우, 단소나 장고 등에 기보나 연주법에 초점이 맞춰져 있다.
우리 악기 중 거문고는 국악기 중 삼국시대 이후 현재에 이르기까지 널리 쓰이고 있는 악기이며, 궁중사회나 양반사회, 혹은 서민사회를 막론하고 다양한 형태의 음악을 위한 악기로 두루 사랑을 받아 온 악기이다. 이렇게 오랜 기간 동안 쓰이고 애호되던 거문고는 그 악기에 깃든 사상적인 측면이나 역사적인 측면을 살펴볼 수 있는 악기 중 하나이다.
이에 본 연구에서는 중학교 음악수업을 위한 거문고 지도를 위해 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 음악과, 사회과, 도덕과, 과학과 및 교과서 나타난 거문고와 관련 있는 내용을 살펴본 후, 거문고 지도 내용을 선정하였다.
다음으로는 선정된 지도 내용을 바탕으로 ‘거문고 알아보기’와 ‘거문고에 내재된 사상과 풍류음악 이해하기’이란 주제를 선정하고 이에 따른 지도 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 주제에 따른 지도 방안은 다음과 같다.
‘거문고 알아보기’라는 주제에서는 거문고의 재료와 연주법에 따른 음색을 살펴볼 수 있도록 하였으며 이를 통해 거문고라는 악기 자체에 대한 이해를 도울 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 이를 통해 후에 학습하게 될 거문고와 관련된 내용에 대한 이해의 바탕을 마련할 수 있도록 하였다.
‘거문고에 내재된 사상과 풍류음악 이해하기’라는 주제에서는 유교사상과 도가사상이 반영된 거문고와 관련된 문헌자료를 통해 거문고에 내재된 사상에 대해 살펴보고 이를 통해 거문고와 관련된 사상적인 측면을 이해하는데 도움이 될 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 풍류음악을 이해할 수 있도록 풍류방과 풍류방에서 자주 연주되었던 거문고 중심 악기편성의 대표악곡인 현악영산회상의 상령산을 살펴볼 수 있도록 지도 방안을 연구하였다.
거문고는 오랜 기간 동안 이어져온 악기로 우리의 역사, 사회, 문화에 대해 살펴볼 수 있는 교육적으로 가치가 높은 악기라 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 교육적으로 높은 악기인 거문고에 대한 본 연구를 통해 교실수업에서 거문고를 접할 수 있는 기회가 증진되길 기대하며 거문고의 교육적 활용에 대한 후속연구가 지속적으로 이루어지길 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Each country has their own language, custom and culture and music which has been developed based on them is organized by different aspects. Also, all of tangible and intangible cultural texts include organization principle and grammar ownership system as their foundation. It premises that Korean music also has our own emotion and culture and correct understanding of our culture can be promoted when operating several factors which are the background generally. But, most of music classes emphasize content delivery by focusing on tune and guidance related to musical instruments focus on classification system or quality of the instruments, so there are lots of cases that exclusive guidance for the foundation making and forming it is not satisfied.
Among the Korean musical instruments, geomungo has been used without any cutting among the Korean traditional instruments from the period of the Three States to the present. And, it has been thoroughly loved as an instrument of various forms of music regardless of court society, yangban society or ordinary society. Geomungo which has been used and loved for a long time without any cutting is one of the instruments which can examine aspects of thought or history in the instrument. But, there are lots of cases focusing on content delivery for tune and classification system of instrument's materials in most of music classes, so it's difficult to grasp them. And, most of studies on geomungo were conducted on the geomungo about playing technique or linguistic origin. And, there are insufficient studies on geomungo's educational application.
So, this research examined contents related to geomungo in music subject, society subject, ethics subject, science subject and textbooks by 2009 revised national curriculum and selected guiding contents of geomungo so as to teaching geomungo for music classes of middle school.
Also, it selected the subject so as to examine various aspects of geomungo based on the results and suggested the guiding principles. The subjects, guiding principles and activities can be abstracted as follows.
First, in the subject of ‘examination of geomungo’, tones by geomungo's materials and playng technique were examined. And, basic understanding of geomungo was established and the foundation of following studies could be prepared.
Second, in the subject of ‘understanding of thought and pungryu music in geomungo’, pungryu culture was examined under the background of the social changes in the later Joseon and enjoying appearance of geomungo was examined. Also, atmosphere and background of the period when geomungo was enjoyed were visually confirmed and understood through the folk paintings of Kim Hongdo and Shin Yunbok. And, thoughts of geomungo were suggested through the literatures including geomungo reflected by Confucian ideas and Taoism ideas. And, among the hyunakyoungsanhoisang, sangryungsan was selected as a representative music and appreciated, so musical characteristics of geomungo could be experienced.
Geomungo has been continued for a long time and shows highly educational value for examining our history, society and culture. Thus, opportunities to encounter geomungo should be increased in classes through this study on geomungo with high value of education and following studies on educational application of geomungo should be continued.
