경력단절 여성의 창업의지에 미치는 심리적특성과 창업교육에 관한 연구 : 창업환경의 조절효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라의 경우 고학력의 우수한 여성인력들이 실제 경제활동에 참여하지 못하고 사장되어 있어 여성경제활동 비율이 OECD국가 중 최하위권에 머물러 있다. 창업은 새로운 일자리 창출에 효과적인 접근방법 중 하나이며 여성 근로자를 충분히 이해하고 배려할 수 있는 여성창업자의 증가는 여성일자리 창출로 이어져 창업과 취업의 고른 성장을 이끌어 여성의 경제참여율을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
이에 본 연구는 창업의 방향을 제시하고 창업요인들을 고취시켜 경력단절여성의 창업활성화를 통한 사회 재 참여율을 끌어 올리는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해서 창업 관련 교육을 받은 적이 있거나 받고 있는 경력단절여성을 대상으로 Likert식 5점 척도를 이용하여 설문을 실시한 후 SPSS Windows 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다.
본 연구는 경력단절 여성들의 창업의지를 종속변수로 두고 심리적특성, 창업교육, 창업환경을 독립변수로 설정하여 세 가지 가설을 설정하였으며 창업환경(개인네트워크, 사회적인식)을 조절변수로 심리적특성과 창업교육이 창업의지에 영향을 미칠 때 조절효과가 있는지 살펴보았다.
연구의 실증분석 결과를 간략하게 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경력단절 여성의 심리적특성, 창업교육, 창업환경이 창업 의지에 영향을 미치는데 있어 모두 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 심리적특성과 창업교육이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는데 있어 창업환경이 조절효과로서 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 창업환경의 하위 요인인 개인네트워크와 사회적 인식을 분리하여 살펴보았을 때 경력단절여성의 심리적특성과 창업의지간의 관계에서 개인네트워크가 유의한 조절적 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다.
본 연구는 경력단절여성의 창업의지에 있어 심리적특성, 창업교육, 창업환경이 모두 중요함을 시사하고 있다. 경력단절여성의 경우 경력의 단절과 개인 네트워크의 단절이 함께 일어나게 되면서 심리적으로 위축되고 교육의 기회에서 배제되는 경우가 많다. 이에 우리는 이들의 경제활동 복귀를 돕기 위해 심리적특성을 잘 고려하며, 최적화된 창업교육을 실시하여야 할 것이다. 또한 경력단절 여성의 개인네트워크 구축에 힘쓰고 주변인들의 인식을 긍정적으로 전환시킬 수 있는 창업환경을 조성하는 일에 역점을 둘 필요가 있다.
앞으로 창업의사가 높은 여성들을 대상으로 그들의 개인적 특성과 함께 사회적 문제들을 다룬다면 경력단절 여성의 실질적인 창업을 유도해 낼 전략을 수립함에 있어 더욱 유익한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 심리적특성, 창업교육, 창업환경이 창업의지에 모두 영향이 있음을 고려해 볼 때, 이와 관련한 심도 있는 후속 연구가 꾸준히 배출되어야 할 것이다.

Korea is one of low-ranked countries in women's economic participation rate among OECD nations because well-educated females are not participating in economic activities. Regardless of current state of our society, opening a business is being considered as a effective method for job creation. Also, increasing the number of female business founders can lead to female job creation which promotes even growth of foundation and job creation and augments women's economic activity rate. Therefore, this study suggests the direction of foundation and inspires foundation factors and aims at increasing social re-participation through vitalization of business foundation by women in career discontinuity.
For this study, I carried out a survey targeting career interrupted women who have attained entrepreneurship education using five- point scale by Likert and analyzed with SPSS Windows 18.0.
The analysis set up 3 hypotheses with independent variables of psychological traits, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship environment and the dependent variable of entrepreneurial intention of the career interrupted women. Also, I looked if there is the modify effect when psychological traits and entrepreneurship education affect the entrepreneurial intention with entrepreneurship environment(personal network, social awareness) as a moderating variable.
To summarize the positive analysis result, Firstly, all psychological traits, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship environment had similar positive affects on career interrupted women's entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, when psychological traits and entrepreneurship education affect the entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurship environment had similar effects as a moderating effect. Thirdly, when separated the subordinates of entrepreneurship environment, personal network and social awareness, the women's personal network had the sole regulating effect on the relation between psychological traits and entrepreneurial intention.
This study implies that psychological traits, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship environment are all important for the career interrupted women's entrepreneurial intention. There are so many women who are going through both professional experience and personal network's severance. Therefore, optimized entrepre neurship education must be provided to help those women return to economic activity considering their psychological traits. Additionally, we should put emphasis on producing the entrepreneurship environment that can positively convert others' perceptions and construct those women's personal network.
There seems to be more productive information for the strategies which can induce those women's actual business foundation if the social problems of the women who have highly willing to open a business are treated in the future. Also, considering that psychological traits, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship environment all have effect on entrepreneurial intentions, there should be more related follow-up study on this.
