전통놀이 태극기화가투놀이가 유아의 국가정체성 형성에 미치는 효과

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was planned to investigate the effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of national identity.

To achieve this purpose, four study questions have been set up as follows:

1. Is there any effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of symbolic representation?

2. Is there any effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of being one with nation?

3. Is there any effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of national pride?

4. Is there any effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of historic awareness?

The subjects of this study were 36 five-year-old young children, there were 18 young children in the experimental group and 18 young children in the control group. The experiment was set up to be executed 12 times for 7 weeks.

To verify the effects, the National Identity Assessment Scale by Kim Hyun-Ja(2000) was adjusted for this study.

The statistics were processed by SPSS WINDOW 19.0.

The result of this study was as follows:

1. There is some effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of symbolic representation.

2. There is some effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of being one with nation.

3. There is some effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of national pride.

4. There is some effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of historic awareness.

In conclusion, this study showed that there is some effects of the Taegeugihwagato play on young children`s formation of national identity.
