우리나라 지방 공항 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 : 전남, 무안 국제공항 선택 속성을 중심으로 = Study of Revitalizing Muan International Airport

Muan international Airport opened in 2007, but it has undergone the state
of deficit since then, Muan international Airport is not mostly performing its
functions as both an international Airport and Southwest hub airport.
This study focused on affecting properties to airport choice and activation of
Muan International Airport. This study seeks to the activation of Muan
International Airport by analyzing the present condition and the affecting
properties to airport choice of Muan International Airport. In order to
revitalize Muan International Airport, a group of experts gather the ideas by
using Delphi technique to draw mutual agreement.
A three-step delphi technique was employed using a panel of 7 tour
planners, 6 aviation experts, 5 tour marketer, 3 tour salesmen and 3 airport
officials in Gwang-ju and Jeon-nam area.
The result of this study is such as follows. In order to revitalize Muan
International Airport, Muan International Airport should have shopping
facilities, facilitate access to traffic networks, and expand airplane operations.
This study aims to provide information on activation strategy's establishment
according to the properties while investigating affecting properties to airport
choice from air passengers. This study can also serve as a basis of the
similar concerns of other regional airports in the study. And this study will
be good resource in a marketing strategy of Muan International Airport.
