그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동 및 마음이론에 미치는 영향 = The effect of educational activites using the picture book about consideration on young children’s prosocial behavior and mind theory

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 만 4세 유아를 대상으로 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동 및 마음이론에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다.

이와 같은 연구목적에 따른 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1. 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동이 만 4세 유아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가?
2. 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동이 만 4세 유아의 마음이론에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가?

본 연구는 전라북도 I시에 소재한 G유치원 만 4세 2학급의 유아를 연구대상으로 선정하여, 실험집단 20명, 통제집단 20명 총 40명이다. 자유선택활동 시간에 대그룹으로 책을 읽고 이야기나누기를 한 후, 후속 이야기 짓기 활동을 실시하였다. 이러한 활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동과 마음이론에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 친사회적 행동 검사는 McGinnis와 Goldstein(1990)의 기술 상황 척도[Skill Situation Measures]를 이원영, 박찬옥, 노영희(1993)가 번안, 발췌 수정한 ‘유아의 친사회적 행동 검사 도구’를 사용하였고, 마음이론 검사의 사전검사로는 내용교체 과제(Gopnik & Astington,1988), 위치이동 과제(Wellman & Bartsch, 1988), 이차 틀린믿음 과제(Permen & Wimmer, 1985)의 3유형으로 이영자, 이종숙, 신은수(2003)의 연구에서 사용된 과제를 사용하였다. 사후검사인 내용교체 과제와 위치이동 과제, 이차 틀린믿음 과제는 각각 Taylor와 Carlson(1997)의 연구, Carison과 Moses(2001)의 연구, 이영자, 이종숙, 신은수(2002)의 연구에서 사용된 과제를 사용하였다.

본 연구에서는 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동과 마음이론에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 연구문제별로 각 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전과 사후 검사 점수의 증가분에 대해 독립표본 t검증을 실시하였다.

본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동은 만 4세 유아의 친사회적 행동에 대 한 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.
둘째, 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동은 만 4세 유아의 마음이론에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.

결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 그림책을 활용한 배려 교육활동이 만4세 유아의 친사회적 행동과 마음이론에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study aims to look into the effect of educational activities using the picture book about consideration on children's pro-social behavior and theory of mind.

Following is the research problem for the purpose of study.
1. How about the effect of educational activities using the picture book about consideration on pro-social behavior of 4-years-old children?
2. How about the effect of educational activities using the picture book about consideration on 4-years-old children's theory of mind?

The study is intended for 4-years-old children chosen for subject of study from 2 class of G kindergarten located Jeollabuk-do Iksan-si, 20 of experiment group and 20 of controlled group, total 40. First, at free play period all members of the group read the book and talked about and then conducted the activity of writing follow-up tale. Following is used to look into the effect of these activities on children's pro-social behavior and theory of mind;
'pro-social behavior examination tool for preschooler is the adapted, extracted, revised of [Skill situation Measures] of McGinnis Goldstein(1990) by Yi won-yeong, Park chan-ok, No yeong-hee, for pro-social behavior exam
ination.
3-type task of content-change task(Gopnik & Astington 1988), position-move
ment task(Wellman & Bartsch, 1988), second false belief task(Permen & Wimmer, 1985) as a preliminary inspection of theory of mind examination, used in the research of Yi yeong-ja, Yi jong-suk, Shin eun-su.
And finally content-change task from Taylor & Carlson(1997), position
-movement task from (Wellman & Bartschk, 1997), second false belief task from Yi-yeongja, Yi-jongsuk, Shin-eunsu are used for the research.

It conducts t-test of independent sample with each pre and post test score of experiment group and controlled group in order to know the effect of educational activities using the picture book about consideration on child's pro-social behavior and theory of mind.

The result of research is following;

First, the educational activities using the picture book about consideration on have a positive effect on pro-social behavior of 4-years-old child.
Second, educational activities using the picture book about consideration have a positive effect on the theory of mind of 4-years-old child.

In conclusion, it can know the educational activities using the picture book about consideration on have a positive effect on pro-social behavior and theory of mind of 4-years-old child.
