청소년이 지각한 부모간 갈등과 스트레스 대처행동이 또래관계에 미치는 영향 = The effects of Adolescent’s perceived interparental conflicts and stress coping behavior in peer relationship

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 중학생 집단을 대상으로 부모간 갈등과 또래관계에서 스트레스 대처행동의 매개효과를 밝히고자 하였다. 구체적으로 청소년이 지각한 부모간 갈등과 또래관계 및 스트레스 대처행동의 연관성을 살펴보고, 부모간 갈등이 스트레스 대처행동을 매개로 또래관계에 미치는 영향을 검증함으로써 또래관계에서 스트레스 대처행동의 유형별 영향을 면밀히 살펴보았다. 먼저 부모간 갈등과 스트레스 대처행동이 또래관계의 상관관계를 분석하였고, 부모간 갈등과 또래관계에서 스트레스 대처행동이 매개효과를 보이는지 분석하였다.
연구 결과 첫째, 부모간 갈등과 긍정적 또래관계에서는 부적 상관을 보였고, 부정적 또래관계에서는 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 또한 매개변인인 적극적 스트레스 대처행동에서는 부적 상관을 보였고, 공격적 스트레스 대처행동과 소극적 스트레스 대처행동에서는 정적상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 청소년이 지각한 부모간 갈등과 또래관계에서 적극적 스트레스 대처행동, 공격적 스트레스 대처행동, 소극적/회피적 스트레스 대처행동에서 부분매개 효과를 보이며 이는 통계적으로 유의미함을 확인하였다.
이상의 결과를 바탕으로 또래관계에 부모간 갈등과 스트레스 대처행동이 미치는 영향을 논의하였으며, 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구의 제안점에 대해서 언급하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of stress coping behavior in interparental conflicts and peer relationship of middle school students. Specifically, the correlation of the adolescents’ perceived interparental conflicts and peer relationship was examined; and the effects of interparental conflicts on the peer relationship mediated by stress coping behavior was verified in order to closely examine the impact of stress coping behavior by its type on the peer relationship.
First of all, the correlation between interparental conflicts and stress coping behavior with peer relationship was analyzed, followed by the analysis of mediating effects of stress coping behavior on interparental conflicts and peer relationship. It was found that firstly, the interparental conflicts and positive peer relationship showed a negative correlation, and negative peer relationship showed a positive correlation. In addition, the mediating variable of active stress coping behavior showed a negative correlation; aggressive stress coping behavior and passive stress coping behavior both showed a positive correlation. Second, active stress coping behavior, aggressive stress coping behavior, and passive/avoidant stress coping behavior showed partial mediation effects in the adolescents’ perceived marital conflicts and peer relationship, demonstrating a statistically significant difference.
Effects of interparental conflicts and stress coping behavior on the peer relationship were discussed based on the outcomes, and the limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were mentioned.
