거절민감성과 외로움의 관계에서 정서표현양가성의 매개효과 = The mediating effect of ambivalence over emotional expressiveness on the relationship between rejection sensitivity and loneliness

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 거절민감성과 외로움의 관계에서 정서표현 양가성이 매개하는지를 확인하고자 하였다.
이를 위해, 성인 남녀 427명(남성 135명, 여성 292명)을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 거절민감성 척도(Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire), 한국판 정서표현 양가성 척도 (Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire: AEQ-K), 외로움 척도 (Revised UCLA Loneliness Scale; RULS)를 도구로 사용하였다. 분석과 검증에는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 통계프로그램이 사용되었다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 상관분석 실시 결과, 모든 변인들 간에 유의미한 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 거절민감성이 외로움에 미치는 영향에서 정서표현 양가성의 매개효과 모형을 검증한 결과, 거절민감성이 정서표현 양가성을 거쳐 우울증상에 영향을 미치는 부분매개 모형이 검증됐다. 즉, 거절민감성은 외로움에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 정서표현 양가성을 매개로 하여 간적접인 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다.
끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 기술하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of ambivalence over emotional expressiveness on the relationship between rejection sensitivity and loneliness.
For this study, 427 adults (135 male, 292 female) participated in completing the survey composed of Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire(RSQ), Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire(AEQ-K), and the Revised UCLA Loneliness Scale( RULS). The final analysis were conducted with SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0.
The followings are the results of this study.
First, there was significant positive correlation among all of the variables. Second, structural equation modeling analysis indicated that rejection sensitivity affected loneliness by partial mediation of ambivalence over emotional expressiveness. This implied that rejection sensitivity not only affected loneliness directly, but also indirectly did so through ambivalence over emotional expressiveness.
Finally, implications and limitations of this study were discussed, and future research directions were suggested.
