주 5일수업에 따른 중학교의 방과 후 학교 스포츠 활동 실태에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 주5일제 수업에 따른 중학교의 방과 후 하교 스포츠 활동의 수업 실태와 인식 및 기대효과를 조사하는 것이 목적이다. 조사대상은 2012년 현재 충청남도에 소재하고 있는 중학교를 모집단으로 구성하여 표집틀(samping framework)을 작성한 다음 조사대상의 성별과 학년 등을 고려하여 총 400명을 유층집략무선표집(stratified cluster random sampling)하였다. 회수된 자료의 적합성을 판정하여 4부를 제외한 총 396부의 설문 반응을 본 연구의 최종자료로 채택하여 기술통계분석, 교차분석, 독립표본 t-검증, 일원변량분석, Scheffe의 사후검증을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구절차를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

첫째. 개인 특성별 주 5일 수업에 따른 중학교의 방과 후 학교 스포츠 활동 실태를 분석한 결과 참여이유에서는 학생의 성별, 학업성적(상, 중/상, 중), 학년, 학부모의 성별, 관심이 많은 학부모, 연령에 따라 모두 다양한 스포츠 활동의 경험 때문이 높게 나타났고, 참여 만족도는 학생의 성별, 학업성적, 학년, 학부모의 관심도, 연령에 따라 모두 만족 하였다. 참여 만족도 이유는 남학생,, 중/상위권 학생, 어머니. 관심이 많은 학부모, 연령별 41~45세 이하 부모들은 친구들과 어울릴 수 있기 때문이, 문제점에 대한 생각은 남학생, 하위권 학생, 1학년, 어머니, 관심이 많은 학부모는 프로그램 다양성 부족이 높게 나타났고, 담당할 지도교사로는 학생의 성별, 학업성적(중/상, 중, 하), 학년, 관심이 적은 학부모, 41∼45세 이하, 46세 이상 학부모는 본교교사를 선택했다. 40세 이하 학부모는 학원 강사(전문 강사)를 선택했다.
적정 시간은 여학생, 학업성적(상, 중, 하), 1,2학년, 어머니, 연령별 40세 이하, 41∼45세 이하 학부모는 2∼4시간미만이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 원하는 유형의 프로그램으로는 상위권 학생, 3학년은 교과 학습 심화를 위한 프로그램, 취미, 특기, 소질 개발을 위한 프로그램으로 나타났다.

적정 수강료는 학생 모두 5만원 미만이라 하였고, 학부모의 성별, 관심이 많은 학부모, 41세∼45세 이하, 46세 이상 학부모는 5만원∼10만원 미만이 가장 높게 나타났다.
둘째, 학생의 경우, 남학생이 스포츠 활동 인식에서 학생중심활동, 지역사회연계활동, 사교육비절감활동 모두 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 성적에 따라서는 중/상의 학생들이 상의 학생들보다 학생중심활동과 사교육비절감활동에 더 긍정적으로 인시하고 있었다. 끝으로 학년에 따라서는 1,2학년이 학생중심활동변인에서 3학년보다 더욱 긍정적 인식을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 학부모의 경우, 지역사회연계활동요인에서 아버지가 어머니들 보다 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며, 관심도에 따라서는 사교육비절감활동에서 많은 관심도를 보인 학부모가 그렇지 않은 학부모 보다 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다.
셋째, 학생의 경우, 사교육비 해결과 청소년문제해결에 대한 기대효과에서 여학생이 더 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며, 학부모의 경우 여가선용요인에서 어머니들이 아버지들보다 더 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 관심도에 따라서는 청소년문제해결에서 관심이 많은 집단이 그렇지 않은 집단보다 더 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며, 연령에 따라서는 여가선용요인에서 40세 이하 집단이 46세 이상 집단보다 긍정적으로 인식하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual teaching conditions, awareness and expected outcome of the middle school after school sports activities followed by five-day school week. For the subjects of investigation, a middle school located in Chungcheongnam-do currently as of 2012 has been organized as population to perform stratified cluster random sampling on a total of 400 people considering gender and grade on the subjects of investigation after preparing a sampling framework. A total of 396 questionnaire responses excluding four copies after determining the suitability of retrieved data have been selected as final data of this study to perform descriptives, cross tabulation, independent sample t-test, one-way anova and , Scheffe post-hoc analysis. Through the research process above, the following conclusions have been gained.

First, the reason of having experience in various sports activities was shown as high according to gender, scholastic achievement (high, intermediate/high, intermediate), grade, gender of parent, parents with great interest and age in the reason for participation as a result of analyzing the actual conditions of after school sports activities of middle school followed by five-day school week by individual traits while the satisfaction of participation was satisfied according to gender of student, scholastic achievement, grade, interest of parents and age group. For the reason for satisfaction of participation, being able to associate with friends was shown as being high in case of male students, intermediate/high ranking students, mothers, parents with great interest and parents age of 41~45 by age group. For the thoughts on problems, lack of program diversity was shown as being high in case of male students, low ranking students, first grade, mothers and parents with great interest. For the instructing teacher to be in charge, gender of students, scholastic achievement (high, intermediate/high, intermediate), grade, parents with little interest, 41~45 years of age and parents of 46 years of age or older have selected the teachers of this school. The parents who are 40 years of age or under have selected academy instructors (professional instructors).
For the optimum time, 2~4 hours or less was shown as the highest in case of female students, scholastic achievement (high, intermediate, low), first & second grade, mothers, forty years of age or under by age group and parents who are age of 41~45 have been shown as the highest while the desired type of programs have been shown as program for intensive curricular learning, hobby, special talent and development of talent in case of top ranking students and third grade students.
All students replied that the optimum tuition is less than 50,000 won while 50,000~100,000 won was shown as being highest in case of the gender of parent, parents with great interest, 41~45 years of age and parents of 46 years of age or older.
Second, in case of the students, male students have recognized student centered activities, local community linked activities and private education cost saving activities as positive in the awareness of sports activities. Also, the students of intermediate/high recognized student centered activities and private education cost saving activities as more positive than the students of high level. Finally, first and second grade were shown as having more positive awareness than third grade in the student centered activity variable according to the grade. In case of the parents, fathers recognized local community linked activity factor as more positive than mothers while the parents who have show great interest in the private education cost saving activities recognized as more positive than the parents who are not according to the level of interest.
Third, in case of the students, female students were recognizing as more positive in the expected outcome on solving private education cost and solving adolescent problems while mothers recognized enjoying past time activities as more positive than fathers in case of the parents. According to the level of interest, the group with great interest in solving adolescent problems recognized as more positive than the group which is not while the group of age of 40 or younger recognized as more positive than the group of age of 46 or older in the enjoying past time activity factor.
