지역아동센터의 활성화 방안 연구

Generally, the children protected often turned over to the agencies through the police station, are put into the each child-care facilities from the agencies. Previously, the inmates of child-care facilities were the orphaned such as the death ofa parents, butcurrently, nuclear familism and as occur the dissolution of family frequently, most children are put into the facilities for the cases of broken families such as the exposure of child or runaway parents, divorce. After the children entered the school they moved to the student-care facilities from the child-care facilities. Therefore, the case to move another facilities from the facilitiesin which they were preschool children can bring a feeling of uneasiness.
The independence for the children leaving from the facilities can be indispensable even for the national development. It hink healthy and sound young people can lead social development, the government should not sit back and should carry out political support steadily for the children leaving from the facilities. However, despitea long history, our child welfare are not appreciated. Because social welfare service sector of welfare policy is inadequate relatively compared with other sectors, it is difference between social welfare service and universal welfare service.

Therefore, this study analyzed problems of operation for child welfare facilities based on the operations and government support of child welfare facilities, especially, investigated independent problems of the children leaving from the facilities such as independence support programs, social adaptation problems and improvement plans and suggest improvement plans.
