정신지체 특수학교 전공과 운영에 대한 교사와 학부모 인식에 대한 질적 연구 = A qualitative study on the recognition of teachers and parents for majors and operation of special schools for the mentally retarded

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 부산지역 특수학교 전공과 운영에 대한 인식 및 실태를 파악하여, 전공과 운영의 개선점을 찾기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전공과가 설치된 4개의 특수학교 전공과 담당 교사 4명과 학부모 4명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였으며, 심층면담을 통한 질적 연구를 하였다.
전공과 운영 및 실태에 대해 교사에게 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 전공과 설치운영 및 학생 선발 방식은 전공과 설치 부서명은 면담을 실시한 학교 모두 포장조립부서를 설치하고 있었으며, 전공과 학생선발은 학교 자체 직업평가에 의한 선발하였다.
둘째, 전공과 교육과정 운영체계는 전문교과와 교양교과 및 재량·특별·치료교육교과로 구성되어 운영하고 있었으며, 전문교과의 경우 주당 평균 20시수를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 교육과정 구성 시 공통적인 지침의 부재로 각 학교의 상황에 따라 재량으로 구성되어 운영되고 있었다
셋째, 전공과 교사들의 직업교육 정보에 대한 인식도는 인터넷 및 동료교사 모임을 통해 정보를 주로 얻었으며, 이를 볼 때 직업교과서의 사용에 대해 연구할 필요가 있다. 현장실습은 전공과의 중요한 과정 중 하나인데, 현장실습 선정 및 실습대상 선정은 교사들이 직접 업체와 협약 맺으며, 전공과 학생 장애정도와 상관없이 전원 현장실습 참여하는 것으로 나타났다. 현장실습 장소와의 지역사회 연계성에서 제한적인 현장실습 장소로 인해 지역사회와의 연계성에 어려움을 나타냈다.
학부모의 전공과의 인식 및 만족도는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 전공과 목적은 현재 학교마다 상이하게 운영되고 있 교육과정 구성방식에 대해 각 학교 상황에 맞는 특색있는 교육과정으로 긍정적으로 생각하고 있다.
둘째, 직업교육 및 취업만족도에 대해서 교내 설치 되어 있는 부서 및 연계되어 있는 직종 기관들관의 관계와 연관되어 만족하고 있다. 반면 현장실습수업시수와 만족도에 대해 현장실습의 장소가 부족하며, 현장수업시수가 부족하다고 보고 있다. 전공과 지도교사와의 업무수행 만족도에 대해서는 상담은 잘 이루어진다고 하였으나, 추수지도에 대한 상담이 필요하다고 보았다.
교사와 학부모가 밝힌 전공과 운영의 바람직한 방향은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 교육과정 운영 측면에서 국가수준의 일정한 교육과정 지침, 다양한 프로그램 개발과 현장중심의 맞춤형 직업훈련이 필요하다.
둘째, 전환교육과 추수지도 관리가 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this research are to grasp recognition and situation of special schools in Busan and find improvements of major and operation. To achieve the purposes of this research, 4 majors, 4 teachers and 4 parents in special school were selected as research participants and qualitative research was conducted by in-depth interview.
For majors, operation and situation, it obtained conclusions from teachers as follows.
The first, for the method to establish and operation majors and select students, the name of division establishing majors was packing assembly division for all of schools conducting interview and students of majors were selected by school's own occupational evalution.
The second, the operation system of curriculum was organized by professional subjects, refined subjects and discretionary·special·treatment educational subjects and in case of professional subjects, average 20 classes per a week were conducted. During the organization of curriculum, it was organized by discretion according to the situation of each school, because of the absence of common guidance.
The third, for the recognition of department teachers' information of occupational education, the information was mainly obtained by internet and colleague teacher meeting and if considering it, it's necessary to study on utilization of occupational textbooks. Work experience is one of the important processes in departments. And, for selection of work experience and practical objects, teachers directly make a contract with companies and the whole members participate in work experience regardless of the degree of department students' disability. In the relationship between work experience location and regional society, there were difficulties in relationship with regional society because of the limited location for work experience.
Parents's recognition and satisfaction for majors are as follows.
The first, the purposes of majors were operated differently by each school at present and they thought positively curriculum organization as particular curriculum suitable for each school's situation.
The second, for the occupational education and recruitment satisfaction, they were satisfied in related to the relationship between divisions established in school and institutions of relative job. On the other hand, they thought that locations of work experience are insufficient and classes of work experiences are insufficient for the classes of work experiences and satisfaction. For the satisfaction of work performance with major teachers, they said that counselling is conducted well, but it's necessary to consult for the follow-up service.
The correct directions of department's operation, teachers and parents explained, are as follows.
The first, from the aspect of curriculum operation, it's necessary to develop certain guidance of curriculum and various programs and conduct customized occupational training at a national level.
The second, it's necessary to conduct transition education and manage follow-up service.
