생활주제를 활용한 전래놀이 교수-학습법 연구 : 만 5세 누리과정을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유치원 교육활동에서 이뤄지는 실질적인 주제인 생활주제 안에서 다양한 노래와 놀이를 접하는 것은 유아에게 매우 중요하다. 만 5세 누리과정에서 주도적인 경험과 놀이중심 통합과정의 구성 안에서 전인발달이 이루어진 창의적 표현을 강조하고 있다. 이렇듯 전래놀이 활동에서 생활주제의 활용은 중요한 부분이지만 여기에 관한 연구가 다소 부족한 상황이며 연관성을 가진 통합교육이 잘 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다.
이에 본 연구자는 유아의 관심과 우리 전통문화의 계승을 고려하여 생활주제 중 동식물과 자연, 생활도구, 겨울로 주제를 선정하고, 통합적 교육과 전래놀이노래 활동을 바탕으로 4단계의 단계적 지도방법을 마련하였다.
첫째, 이야기 나누기를 통한 이해단계에서는 그림 자료를 보고 이야기 나누기를 하며 학습동기를 부여하고 생활주제에 대한 전반적인 이해를 돕도록 상세한 지도방법과 학습 지도안을 제시하였다.
둘째, 놀이도구를 활용한 탐색단계에서는 놀이도구의 특성, 모양, 소리 등을 느껴보고 경험하면서 유아가 직접 놀이도구의 속성을 탐색하고 좀 더 적극적으로 놀이에 참여할 수 있도록 유도하며, 다양한 놀이도구를 접하면서 친근감과 흥미가 생기도록 상세한 지도방법과 학습 지도안을 제시하였다.
셋째, 전래놀이노래를 활용한 활동단계에서는 놀이와 노래를 직접 체험하면서 우리가 가지고 있는 관습, 가치관, 행동양식이 어디에서 왔는지 이해하게 되고, 집단놀이를 통하여 자발적 참여와 협동하는 태도가 생기도록 상세한 지도방법과 학습 지도안을 제시하였다.
넷째, 종이를 활용한 조형활동 단계에서는 유아들이 좋아하는 조형활동을 통해 생활주제를 이해하는데 더 도움을 주고 폐종이, 습자지, 신문지 등 다양한 종이 재질을 익히고 소근육 발달에 도움이 되도록 상세한 지도방법과 학습 지도안을 제시하였다.
다섯째, 전래놀이 교수-학습법의 교육효과를 알아보기 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 모든 유아가 수업 후 전래놀이의 놀이도구와 놀이방법을 여러개 알고 있다고 대답하였으며 더 많은 전래놀이를 배우고 싶다고 대답하였다. 이는 유아들이 생활주제를 활용한 전래놀이에 대한 긍정적인 태도 변화가 있음을 알 수 있다.
본 연구는 다양한 전래놀이 활동을 통해 유아가 우리의 전통을 자연스럽게 배우면서 즐길 수 있는 놀이는 유아의 정서 함양과 공동체 의식, 질서, 경쟁, 양보, 공정성 등을 배우게 하고 사회적 기능과 태도의 발달에 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is extremely important for children to experience variety of musics and games within life theme, which are actual subjects in kindergarten education. Nuri Curriculum, focusing on five year old children, emphasizes well developed creative expressions from lead experiences, play-centered integrated courses. Utilization of life theme in Korean traditional play is very important but the reality is that there aren't enough related studies and integrated education which has correlation.
Thus, 4 stages of step-by-step teaching guidances are created within life theme, considering inheritance of traditional cultures and they are based on activities in integrated education and singing a song from Korean traditional play. Those themes are natures, home appliances, winter, animals, and plants.
First, details of teaching method and learning guidance is suggested in "Understanding by Sharing Conversation Stage", to help toddlers to understand the concept of life theme and to have learning motivation by sharing conversations after examining pictures.
Second, details of teaching method and learning guidance is suggested in "Searching Stage" to increase friendliness, interest and guide toddlers to actively participate in plays by allowing them to experience and feel play tool's characteristics, shapes, and sounds for themselves.
Third, learning guidance and details of teaching method is suggested in "Activity Stage" using songs from Korean traditional plays to help them to understand where our traditions, values, and behavior patterns come from and to inculcate cooperative attitude as well as voluntary participation by allowing them to take part in plays as a group.
Fourth, details of teaching method and learning guidance is suggested in "Art Activity Stage", using paper, to allow toddlers to experience different types of papers; waste paper, writing paper, newspaper, and etc. and to develop their fine motor as well as understanding of life theme through art activities, which is one of their favorite.
Fifth, survey was conducted to analyze the education effects of Teaching-Learning method using Korean traditional play. As a result, all the toddlers have learned about play tools from Korean traditional play and how to play them after the lesson. Also they've responded that they are willing to learn more about Korean traditional plays in the future. This presents that there is a brought positive attitude change among toddlers towards Korean traditional play utilizing life theme.
In conclusion, this study hopes for toddlers to learn about our tradition even more casually through participation in variety of Korean traditional plays and this will also help them to learn community spirit, order, competition, yield, justice, social skills and attitude.
