사회적 바람직성과 전공만족도의 관계 : 성격과 주관적 안녕감을 통한 경로모형 탐색 = The relationship of social desirability and major satisfaction : the path analysis of mediated variables through personality and subjective well-being

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 Lent와 Brown(2007)의 사회인지이론에서 주관적 안녕감에 대한 연구를 기반으로 하여 Andreja(2011)의 사회적 바람직성이라는 변인을 통해 사회적 바람직성과 전공만족도와의 관계성을 성격과 주관적 안녕감이 매개하는 경로모형을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 282명이 분석 대상으로 쓰였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석을 실시하여, 변인들 간의 상관을 보았다. 사회적 바람직성이 성격 5요인 주관적 안녕감, 전공만족도 모두와 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 모형 검증을 통해 사회적 바람직성, 성격, 주관적 안녕감, 전공만족도간의 관계성을 보고자 하였다. 셋째, 대안 모형과의 비교를 통해 연구 모형이 최종모형으로 제시되었다. 사회적 바람직성과 전공만족도는 직접적인 관계와 간접적인 관계 모두 나타났다. 성격은 외향성과 개방성이 완전매개모형을 나타냈고, 성실성은 정적 정서를 제외하고 완전매개모형을 나타냈다. 주관적 안녕감은 완전매개와 부분매개가 모두 나타났다. 따라서 사회적 바람직성과 전공만족도와의 관계를 성격과 주관적 안녕감이 매개할 것이라는 가설이 부분적으로 지지되었다.
끝으로 본 연구의 함의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to verify theoretical characteristics of the relationship of social desirability and major satisfaction in paths of mediated model of personality and subjective well-being. The 300 surveys have been collected from October 7 2012 to October 28 2012. Among them, 16 incomplete surveys have been disregarded for the final analysis. 282 surveys are used for analysis.
The subject of this research includes university students of Korea. The followings summarize there result of this study.
First, Social Desirability was related to Five factor personality, Subjective well-being and major satisfaction.
Second, It was hypothesized about relationship to social desirability, personality, subjective well-being, major satisfaction through path analysis.
Third, The theoretical model was revised into the last model through comparative analysis between alternative models. Then, the relationship to social desirability and major satisfaction appeared to be both direct effect and indirect effect. Extraversion and Openess to experience revealed full mediated model, and Conscientiousness showed full mediated model except positive affection. Also, Subjective well-being revealed both full mediated model and partial mediated model.
In conclusion, The hypothesis are partially supported that the personality and subjective well-being mediate on the relationship between social desirability and major satisfaction
Finally, the meaning of this, limitations and directions for future studies are described.
