조리전공 고등학생들의 진로성숙 및 사회성숙이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향

The aim of this study was to see the effects on career and social maturity of high school students majoring in culinary arts. By investing the relationship between those effects, we defined it as factors in selecting academic majors on career maturity, social maturity, effects on academic major, and social maturity and satisfaction with the academic major in order to develop the talents and the ability of the students by inspiring them to teach self-development and help them grow into a healthy and positive members of the society and improve professional competence to easily adjust with the fast changing society.
To perform the study, a hypothesis was formed on the basis of the results that precedent the studies and related literatures. In order to prove the hypothesis, a survey on 3rdyear high school students was conducted. Statistics program called SPSSW in 18.0 was used to perform factorialandmultipleregressionanalys is on the collected dataand proposed the following results and it simplications.
The relationship between the factors in selecting academic majors and career maturity of the high school students majoring in culinary arts was statistically significant and according to the results, have these factors influence on self-understanding, consideration of practicality and decision-making.
The relationship between these factors were statistically significant, and according to the results, it has an effect on interpersonal relationship skills, effect on social competence and ability to self-control, and process of making a decision on academic major has an effect on adaptability to the school life.
The relationship between career maturity and social maturity on the students was statistically significant and according to the results, decision making has an influence on interpersonal relationship skills; adaptability to school life and social competence; determination on what career to take has influence on adaptability to school life; job comprehension has an effect on interpersonal relationship skills and ability to self control; self-understanding has an effect on the ability to self-control; consideration of practicality has an effect on social competence.
Communication also has an effect on consideration of practicality and ability to self-control has an influence on job comprehension and self-understanding.
Decision-making has an influence in the satisfaction of the academic major and social recognition.
Interpersonal relationship skills and social competence has also an effect on the school curriculum, and social maturity has an effect on social recognition.
This study deals with limitations and needs further study projects.
First, all the subjects of the study are residence of Busan and it may be unreasonable to generalize for the whole population of Korea.
Second, there needs to be a further study on the basis of those students that are dissatisfied with culinary arts major in order to analyze the factors for their dissatisfaction.
Lastly, development of various professional counseling programs and career guidance services are necessary for those students with difficulty in culinary arts major.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 조리전공 고등학생들의 진로성숙 및 사회성숙이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 그 요인들 간의 영향관계 연구를 통하여 전공선택속성이 진로성숙에 영향을 미치는 요인, 전공선택속성이 사회성숙에 미치는 요인, 진로성숙이 사회성숙에 미치는 요인, 사회성숙이 진로성숙에 미치는 요인, 진로성숙이 전공만족도에 미치는 요인, 사회성숙이 전공만족도에 미치는 요인을 밝혀 학생들의 자기 개발의욕을 고취시켜 자질과 능력을 키우고 건전하고 건강하게 긍적적인 모습으로 성장․발달할 수 있는 사회인으로 성장하여 변천하는 산업 사회에 적응할 수 있는 직업적 능력을 향상시키는데 연구의 목적을 가지고 진행하였다.
이를 위하여 관련 문헌과 선행연구를 결과를 토대로 가설을 설정하고, 가설 검증하기 위하여 3학년 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS Win 18.0 통계프로그램을 활용하여 요인분석, 다중회귀분석 등의 기법을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과와 시사점을 제시하였다.
조리전공 고등학생들의 전공선택속성과 진로성숙의 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 나타났으며, 전공선택속성은 자기자신이해, 현실성고려, 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
조리전공 고등학생들의 전공선택속성과 사회성숙의 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 나타났으며, 전공선택속성은 대인관계친화력에 영향을 미치며 전공선택 요인은 사회적유능감과 자기관리능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 전공결정과정은 학교생활적응력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
조리전공 고등학생들의 진로성숙과 사회성숙의 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 나타났으며, 의사결정은 대인관계친화력, 학교생활적응력, 사회적유능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로결정성은 학교생활적응력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 직업이해는 대인관계친화력과 자기관리능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기자신이해는 자기관리능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 현실성고려는 사회적유능감과 의사소통에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
조리전공 고등학생들의 사회성숙과 진로성숙의 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 나타났으며, 대인관계친화력은 의사결정과 직업이해에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 학교생활적응력은 의사결정과, 진로결정성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적유능감은 의사결정성과 현실성 고려에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 의사소통능력은 현실성고려에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기관리능력은 직업이해, 자기자신이해에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
조리전공 고등학생들의 진로성숙은 전공만족도의에 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 의사결정성은 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 진로성숙은 사회적인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
조리전공 고등학생들의 사회성숙과 전공만족도의 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 대인관계친화력과 사회적유능감은 교과과정에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회성숙은 사회적인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구가 지니는 한계점 및 향후 연구과제를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 본 연구대상은 부산광역시 일부지역에 거주하는 학생들을 대상로 하였으므로 전국화 시키기엔 무리가 있다.
둘째, 본 연구에서 개발된 전공만족 설문지를 기초로 하여, 조리전공에 대한 전공만족을 하지 못하는 학생들을 위해 전공불만족 요인을 분석하여 전공만족도를 높이는 후속 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
셋째, 전공 불만족 학생들의 진로성숙과 사회성숙을 위한 다양하고 전문적인 상담 프로그램을 개발과 진로지도가 필요하다.
