This study is on purpose to supply necessary basic data in upcoming integrated curriculum as the consideration of educational trend with a comparative analysis of Kindergarten Curriculum and Child care center Standard Childcare program.
The result of considering on methods of documentary research is as follows. First, as the jurisdiction government department has dual system in Kindergarten and Child care center, it has disrupted Korean preschool education growth. Second, when we compare Kindergarten Curriculum and Standard Childcare program, we know that it is not far different in the compositional system and contents. Third, the government made an effort to give the equal right to children(infants) of Kindergarten and Child care center as free education and common curriculum in order for 5 years' old children curriculum to overcome the qualitative differences between low birth rate and education.
On the basis of above result, if we proceed several suggestions as below; First, it is necessary for teachers to have a specific teacher's guidance plan without confusion about teachers' lesson guidance. Second, teacher's conditions have to maintain similar level in order to improve the quality of childcare and education for the children who go to kindergarten and child care center. Third, the institutes which research the program professionally, have to be unified. Fourth, how does the unification of upcoming education curriculum affect we are going to need to seek for the solution through the variety research methods with the consideration of several consolidation and cooperation cases.
