This st dy aimed at investigating the self-efficacy and self-esteem of female seniors who reg larly participated in local fitness programs and analyzing correlations between the participants’ self-esteem and exercise effects. For validation of this st dy, 447 female seniors aged over 60 years, in B san, participated in this st dy, and were randomly administered.
Analytical methods (e.g., descriptive analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and covariance str ct re analysis) for this st dy were adopted thro gh SPSS version 19.0 and AMOS version 19.0. A significance level of p<.05 was sed for all statistical tests, and a few interesting findings were discovered.
    1. Variables and Exercisers' Self-efficacy and Self-esteem
Regarding this aspect, it was fo nd that the participants’ age, ed cational backgro nd and reasons to exercise do not affect either self-efficacy or self-esteem when exercising. Another was that the participants' self-efficacy showed differences dependent on their health condition, period, freq ency, and time of exercise. Also, the participants’ age, economic level and reason to exercise did not affect their self-esteem, and participants’ self-esteem differed, dependent on the participants’ ed cation level, health condition, period, freq ency, time, and level of exercise.

    2. Correlations of between Variables and Self-efficacy
Correlations between variables and the participants' self-efficacy have positive relations, dependent on the variables (e.g., health condition, period, freq ency, time, and level of exercise).

    3. Correlations between Variables and Self-esteem
Correlations between variables and the participants’ self-esteem have positive relations, dependent on ed cation level, health condition, period, freq ency, time, and level of exercise. With respect to exercise Effects between Variables and Self-esteem, it was fo nd that the self-efficacy of the participants significantly affected their self-esteem in exercising, in partic lar when their fitness condition had an effect on their self-efficacy. Simply p t, this research fo nd that there were significant correlations between the self-efficacy and self-esteem among the female senior participants aged over 60 years, partic larly when being aware of their fitness stat s. Their health condition highly infl enced their self-efficacy and self-esteem in exercising as well.
