중·장년층의 라이프스타일에 따른 정보탐색태도와 노후준비 = According to the lifestyles of older adults information navigation attitude and preparation for aging

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대구광역시 및 경상북도에 거주하는 중·장년층을 대상으로 라이프스타일에 따른 정보탐색태도가 노후준비에 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 522명의 설문 내용을 토대로 노후준비에 영향을 미치는 요인을 검증하였다.
중·장년층의 라이프스타일은 연령이 높을수록 보수적 사고를 지니고 있었고, 연령이 낮을수록 자기를 중시하며 개방적 생활을 하고 있으며, 학력이 높을수록 자기만족에 대한 신념과 사회적 이슈를 잘 받아들이고 있었다. 배우자가 없는 중·장년층이 자기위주의 삶과 개방적 생활을 하고 있었으며, 자가 주택 소유자는 보수적이며 전통적 생활을 선호하고 있었다. 급여 생활자들은 동료들과 함께 어울리면서 자기 개성에 맞는 다양한 생활과 문화를 받아들이는 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 또한 높은 급여는 경제적 수준을 끌어올리는 원동력으로서 보수적이며 전통적 성향으로 적극적인 노후준비를 하고 있었다.
정보탐색태도에서는 남자가 많이 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 연령이 낮을수록 정보이용기회 및 사용의 친숙도로 인하여 많은 탐색을 하고 있었다. 학력이 높을수록 정보 활용의 필요성 인식이 높았으며, 가족과 함께 거주하는 경우 정보에 대한 관심도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 직업은 정보 활용 이용의 기회를 제공하는 요소로 볼 수 있으며, 공무원 및 직장인들은 항상 인터넷 등 정보를 쉽게 접할 수 있어 정보탐색을 많이 하는 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 정보탐색 정도에 따라 노후준비의 차이가 있었다.
일반적 특성에 따른 노후준비는 연령이 높고 학력이 높을수록 노후준비를 위한 노력을 더 많이 하고 있음을 알 수 있고, 자가 주택을 소유하고 있는 경우 노후준비 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 정기적 소득자와 고소득자는 계획성 있는 노후를 계획하고 있었으며, 무엇보다 노후준비는 경제적 문제해결이 가장 중요한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 결과적으로 라이프스타일 유형에 따라 정보탐색태도와 상관성이 검증되었으며, 그리고 정보탐색태도는 노후준비와 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 적극적 정보탐색은 노후준비와 많은 상관관계를 지니고 있었다.
중·장년층은 개인적인 성향에 따라 정보탐색을 적극적이거나 유희적으로 탐색하는 성향을 가지고 있었으며, 그리고 전통적 성향을 지닌 중·장년층들이 적극적인 정보탐색을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 개인의 성향에 따라서, 그리고 전통적 성향을 지닌 장년층들이 노후에 대한 중요성을 더 많이 인식하고 있었다.
라이프스타일이 경제적 준비에 미치는 영향은 사전에 준비하는 습성을 가진 전통적 성향과 자신을 위해 노력하는 개인적 성향에서 높았으며, 이들의 성향은 정서적 준비에도 영향을 미쳤다. 신체적 준비는 가장으로서 끝까지 가족을 책임져야한다는 보수적 성향과 가족애가 확립된 전통적 성향에서 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 노후준비는 전통적 성향이 미치는 영향이 크다고 할 수 있다. 경제적 준비에 영향을 미치는 것은 적극적으로 정보를 탐색함으로써 경제적 준비에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있으며, 정서적 준비에서도 적극적 탐색이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 신체적 준비도 적극적 정보탐색에서 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 적극적인 정보탐색은 노후준비에 많은 영향력이 있음이 입증되었다.
결과적으로 전통적 성향, 개인적 성향, 보수적 성향은 노후준비를 잘 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 현재 노후준비를 마쳤어야하는 연령이 높은 전통적 성향은 더 많은 영향을 미치고 있었다. 그리고 적극적인 정보탐색은 노후준비에 미치는 영향이 가장 큰 것으로 나타나 앞으로 노후준비에 관한 정보탐색을 도울 수 있는 정보의 장 마련도 요구되는 실정이다.
이에 다양한 노후소득보장체계 구축이 필요하며 근로기간, 소득, 주거형태, 경제정도, 건강상태 등에 따라 노후설계를 이룰 수 있도록 노후설계 서비스 시스템 제공 및 적절한 지원책 마련이 필요하다는 시사점을 제공한다. 그리고 정보탐색태도와 노후준비와 관련된 연구가 미비한 상태이므로 이 연구의 논의에 대한 한계성이 있으며 정보탐색이 노후준비에 미치는 영향이 있음으로 후속연구를 제안한다.
