      본 연구는 유치원에서 실시하고 있는 기본생활습관교육에 대하여 부모가 가지는 기본생활습관교육의 중요성이나 필요성에 대한 인식조사 및 교육적 만족도 조사, 그리고 가정과의 연계교육 및 유치원에서의 기본생활습관교육이, 가정에서 유아들의 일상생활 습관 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고, 이를 바탕으로 유치원에서의 기본생활습관교육의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두고 있다.
      연구결과 부모들은 기본생활습관교육에 대한 필요성이나 중요성에 대해서는 꼭 필요하고 중요하다는 인식들을 가지고 있고, 유치원에서 실시하고 있는 기본생활습관교육에 대해서도 만족하고 있다는 결과를 보였으며 유치원에서의 예절교육이 유아들의 가정에서의 일상생활 습관 형성에 영향이 있다는 것으로 나타났다.

      The objective of the study is to survey parents’ perception and satisfaction on the importance and need for basic lifestyle habit training which is being implemented in preschool, to find out how the program implemented in preschool affect the development of everyday lifestyle habit for preschoolers and to suggest basic references in order to revitalize the basic lifestyle habit training in preschool. The study objectives set up for above study are as follow.
      Study objective 1. How is the level of parents’ understanding toward the basic lifestyle habit training in preschool?
      Study objective 2: How is the satisfaction level for the basic lifestyle training habit in preschool?
      Study objective 3: How does the basic lifestyle habit training in preschool affect the development of everyday lifestyle habit for preschoolers in their homes?
      The target of the study was composed of 5 years-old 48 preschoolers in H preschool in Jinju (24 in experimental group, 24 in control group). The two groups received the same basic lifestyle habit training in classroom and the experimental group was trained with basic lifestyle habit training in homes in connection with school newsletter and “I’ll keep my promise” assessment book. The steps were composed of pre-screening, 8 weeks of experimental study and post-screening and the study was done from 3/5/2012 ~ 4/27/12, two times a week for a total of 12 times. The effects of the training occurring in homes and in preschool on the formation of everyday lifestyle habit on preschoolers were tested through parents using an assessment questionnaire and the collected data was analyzed by Korean SPSS 14.0
      The conclusions were arrived through the study as follow.
      First, parents’ understanding of need and importance of basic lifestyle habit training for preschoolers was very high.
      Second, parents considered manners the most important in basic lifestyle habit training and they were generally satisfied with the training.
      Third, it was discovered that preschoolers in the experimental group showed improvements in formation of everyday lifestyle habit. The four lower domains of basic lifestyle which are tidiness, self-control, order and manners showed high scores and the difference was meaningful statistically.
      Based on the study, when the training taking place in preschool occurs systematically in homes together, it can be proven that basic lifestyle habit training occurs effectively and affected the development of everyday lifestyle habit greatly. Therefore, if preschools consider the ways to develop a program which can be linked with basic lifestyle habit training in homes, it will be highly effective in formation of positive lifestyle habit of preschoolers.
