태권도 세계화에 따른 가치와 효과에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

태권도는 한국을 대표하는 10대 브랜드로 선정되고 전 세계적으로 202개국 회원을 보유하여 자국에 경제, 문화, 정치적으로 큰 기여를 하고 있는 소중한 자산이다. 그러나 태권도 수련 및 활동을 통해 얻을 수 있는 가치와 효과에 대한 객관적 검증 및 논리적 근거를 토대로 한 정보제공이나 홍보활동은 미진한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 태권도 세계화에 따른 가치와 효과를 객관적 통계기법을 활용하여 태권도가 지닌 가치와 효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 델파이 기법 적용을 위해 유목적표집법(Purposive sampling)을 통하여 국내외 태권도 관련 전문가 60명을 선정하여 2011년 9월부터 2012년 4월 까지 델파이 설문 조사를 3차에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 연구의 자료처리는 Windows SPSS 18.0 및 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하였다.
연구결과 첫째, 연구대상자의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 태권도 세계화의 가치와 효과 차이는 성별에 따른 태권도 세계화의 가치 차이분석 결과 사회적, 문화적 그리고 생활체육적 가치에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 효과는 지적, 정서적 효과에서 성별 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 그러나 사회적 그리고 전반적 효과에 대한 요인은 성별 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 연령에 따른 태권도의 가치 차이에서는 경제적, 사회적, 문화적, 생활체육적, 교육적, 정치적, 전반적 가치에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 효과는 정서적, 사회적, 전반적 효과 요인에서 연령별 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 태권도 세계화에 따른 학력별 태권도의 가치 차이는 경제적, 사회적, 문화적, 생활체육적, 그리고 전반적 가치 요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 태권도의 효과에 대한 차이는 사회적, 전반적 효과 요인에서만 학력에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 직위에 따른 태권도 세계화의 가치 차이는 사회적, 문화적, 생활체육적, 교육적, 정치적 그리고 태권도의 전반적 가치요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 직위에 따른 태권도의 효과 차이는 하위요인 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 경력 기간에 따른 태권도의 가치 차이는 사회적, 문화적, 생활체육적, 교육적, 정치적, 전반적 가치 요인에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 끝으로 경력 기간에 따른 태권도의 효과 차이는 모든 요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다.
둘째, 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 가치와 효과변인에 대한 상관관계분석 결과, 태권도 세계화에 따른 가치와 효과 요인 모두 태권도의 전반적 가치와 효과에 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 가치사슬 구조인 경제, 사회, 문화, 생활체육, 교육, 그리고 정치적 가치 간의 관계성을 확인하고 태권도 가치와의 관계를 분석한 결과 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도 가치인 경제, 사회, 문화, 생활체육, 교육, 그리고 정치적 가치는 태권도의 전반적 가치와 인과관계를 가지며, 태권도 효과인 지적, 정서적, 사회적 효과 요인은 태권도의 전반적 효과와 인과관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 가치와 효과요인 중 총 효과는 생활체육적 가치 요인이 가장 크게 나타났으며, 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 가치와 효과요인에 대한 간접효과는 사회적 효과 요인이 가장 크게 나타났다. 따라서 태권도 세계화에 따른 태권도의 가치와 효과요인은 태권도의 전반적 가치와 효과에 직간접적인 인과관계가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Taekwondo is one of Korea's top 10 brands. Being practiced in 202 countries around the world, taekwondo is a precious asset, greatly contributing to the economical, cultural and political development in the countries where taekwondo is practiced. However, there has not been extensive research on the values and effects of the global sport of taekwondo.
The aim of this study was to examine and clarify the relationship between the values and effects of the sport of taekwondo through a study of the global sport of taekwondo. For the questionnaire, the Delphi technique was used to select 60 taekwondo experts at home and abroad through purposive sampling from September 2011 to April 2012. The surveys were conducted on three occasions. For the data processing, Windows SPSS ver 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs were used.
First, the findings of the study showed the differences between the values and effects of the global sport of taekwondo based on demographical characteristics. As a result of the analysis of the differences in the values of the global sport of taekwondo by gender, significant differences were found in the values of social, cultural and sport for all. As to the effects of the global sport of taekwondo by gender, significant differences were found in intellectual and emotional effects. However, there were no statistically significant differences in social and overall effects by gender.
Concerning the differences in the values of the global sport of taekwond by age, significant differences were found in the values of economical, social, cultural, sport for all, educational, political and the overall values. On the effects of the global sport of taekwodno by age, significant differences were found in emotional, social and the overall effects.
Concerning the differences in the values by the level of education, statistically significant differences were found in the values of economic, social, cultural, sport for all and the overall values. On the differences in the effects by the level of education, significant differences were found only in social and the overall effects.
Concerning the differences in the values by position, significant differences were found in social, cultural, sport for all, educational, political and the overall effects. On the differences in the effects by position, no significant statistical differences were found in all factors.
Concerning the differences in the values by the period of work, significant differences were found in social, cultural, sport for all, educational, political and the overall values. On the differences in the effects by the period of work, significant differences were found in all factors.
Second, as a result of correlation analysis of the variables of the values and effects of the global sport of taekwondo, a positive correlation was found between all the factors of values and effects of the global sport of taekwondo and the overall values and effects.
Third, the study verified the relationships among the value chain factors of economical, social, cultural, sport for all, educational and political values and analyzed their relations with the overall taekwondo values. As a result, the economic, social, cultural, sport for all, educational and political values of the global sport of taekwondo were found to have a causal relationship with the overall values of the global sport of taekwondo. It also found that taekwondo's intellectual, emotional and social effects have causal relations with the overall effects of the global sport of taekwondo. Among the values and effects of the global sport of taekwondo, the sport-for-all factor has the highest total effect, while the social effect factor has the highest indirect effect. Accordingly, direct and/or indirect causal relations were found between the values and effects factors of the global sport of taekwondo and taekwondo's overall values and effects.
