중요무형문화재의 대중화를 위한 문화 콘텐츠화 전략 : 중요무형문화재촌 테마파크를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중요무형문화재는 문화적 가치가 높고, 보존 및 전승되어야 할 한국의 소중한 문화유산이다. 하지만, 이러한 중요무형문화재는 더 이상 보호·보존에만 국한되어서는 안 된다. 한국의 소중한 자산인 중요무형문화재를 대중의 무관심속에 방치하는 것 보다는, 중요무형문화재를 활용하여 문화콘텐츠를 개발하고 발전시켜 대중화와 활성화를 이룩해야 한다고 본다. 이러한 문화콘텐츠의 개발은 더 나아가 국제적인 한국의 위상 및 가치를 상승시켜 줄 것이며, 국가브랜드 이미지 상승에도 큰 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. 또한, 이는 경제적 가치 창출에도 큰 기여를 하게 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구자는 중요무형문화재 활용 문화 콘텐츠 방안을 제시하였다.
중요무형문화재를 집합시켜 하나의 놀이공원화·테마파크화 하는 방안인 무형문화재촌의 건설이다. 먼저 중요무형문화재를 활용하여 실내와 실외를 같이 운영할 수 있도록 중요무형문화재촌을 개설한다. 초기 관람객의 유치는 학생의 현장학습이나 외국인 관광패키지 등을 활용한다. 무형문화재 합일 연희퍼레이드는 상시 공연을 하도록 하며, 그 안에 한국의 무용, 음악, 의상, 연희, 놀이 등을 넣어 화려한 퍼포먼스로 거듭나되, 관람객의 참여를 유도할 수 있는 방향으로 연출한다. 관람객의 쇼핑을 유도할 수 있는 중요무형문화재를 활용한 실용적이면서도 질이 높은 상품을 개발하여 쇼핑하고 싶은 중요무형문화재로 거듭나도록 하며 지속적으로 상품의 발전을 도모한다. 또한, 그 사업의 영역을 넓혀 나가 중요무형문화재 관련 인재의 경제적 안정을 돕는다. 공연 상품으로는 문화 콘텐츠화된 김죽파류 가야금 산조 공연을 제시하였다. 공연장 건설이나 인테리어에 있어서 관객이 공연장에 들어오면서 한국을 대표하는 중요무형문화재 공연을 관람 한다는 것에 자부심을 느낄 수 있고, 그 공연의 세계에 발을 내딛는다는 느낌을 가질 수 있도록 건축하도록 한다. 공연장 로비에서의 동선을 통해 관람객으로 하여금 김죽파류 가야금 산조의 세계로 들어간다는 느낌이 들 수 있도록 한다. 동선 안에서 가야금 산조의 이야기를 들려주고, 공연에 참여하는 방법을 게임을 통해 가르쳐 주도록 한다. 화장실이나 매표소 같은 곳에서 조차 한 순간도 가야금 산조의 세계에 들어왔다는 것을 잊지 못하도록 디테일하게 인테리어를 꾸미도록 하며, 직원의 의상 지정에서 화법에 이르기까지 어느 한 가지도 놓치지 않고 연출해낸다. 관람객이 공연장에 입장했을 때, 시각적으로는 화려한 조명하래 한국의 미를 한껏 살려 꾸며 놓은 가야금을 볼 수 있도록 하고, 청각적으로는 연주될 산조 가야금의 음계를 천천히 들어볼 수 있도록 하여 관람객이 공연 시작 전까지 지루하지 않도록 한다. 공연의 시작은 한국의 천의 흐름 속에 가야금이 사라지고 어느새 공연자가 나와 있도록 한다. 연주자의 자세부터 의상에 이르기까지 한국의 미를 한껏 살린 화려함을 보여주며, 한국무용과 3D영상들의 활용으로 관람객의 눈을 즐겁게 해주되 공연 시간을 짧게 줄이도록 하여 서운함을 안겨주도록 한다. 또한, 마케팅 방법으로 고급 공연의 이미지를 구축하고, 연주자를 비교 분석하고 개성을 설명하는 등의 방법으로 김죽파류 가야금 산조 연주자를 스타화하는 전략을 제시하였다. 한편, 중요무형문화재촌 내에 교육 연구소를 설치하여 교육받고자 하는 대상을 구체적으로 분류하여 그에 맞는 교육 방법과 교재를 연구하도록 한다. 이를 흥미유발에서 전문 교육까지 체계적으로 진행 할 수 있도록 하며, 인재 양성에 기여하도록 한다. 이렇듯 본 연구자가 제시하고자 하는 중요무형문화재촌은 관광, 관람, 교육, 교육연구, 경제활동, 상품 개발, 시장의 역할을 해내고 중요무형문화재가 갖고 있는 문제점과 개선사항을 포괄 해결해주는 종합적·총체적 문화촌이다.
이러한 작업을 통해 중요무형문화재의 예술적, 문화적 가치에 맞는 문화 콘텐츠를 만들고, 중요무형문화재를 대중에게 한발 더 가까이 다가갈 수 있도록 기여해야 한다. 또한, 중요무형문화재관련 인재들의 경제적 안정과 발전을 도모할 수 있도록 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The important intangible cultural properties with notably high cultural value are Korea's invaluable cultural heritages to be preserved and handed down. Even so, they should not be restricted to protection and preservation anymore. It is necessary to develop and foster cultural contents using the important intangible cultural properties, that is, invaluable ones of Korea, instead of being left in public indifference, to achieve their popularization and revitalization. The development of these cultural contents, moreover, will enhance the international prestige and value of Korea and have a great influence on improvement of national brand images. It also will contribute to creation of economic values. Accordingly, this researcher showed some plans for cultural contents with the important intangible cultural properties utilized.
A plan for gathering important intangible cultural properties to make a playground or a theme park is to construct intangible cultural properties villages. The plan is more specifically explained as follows. First, an important intangible cultural property village available for both indoor and outdoor operation is constructed with important intangible cultural properties utilized. For attraction of early tourists, field trip for students and package tour for foreign tourists are utilized. Play parades combined with intangible cultural properties are held at normal times, as magnificent performances involved with Korean dance, music, clothing, play and games to encourage participation of spectators. Moreover, according to development of practical and high-quality products using important intangible cultural properties capable of attracting spectators to do shopping, such properties are reborn as those they want to shop, which contributes to continuous development of the products. Moreover, a broad extension of the business helps economic stability of the talent related to the important intangible cultural properties. Moreover, Kim Juk-pa style Gayageum Sanjo performances, which have been already used as cultural contents, are presented as a performance product. Its performance hall construction or interior designing is achieved to allow spectators to feel proud of watching important intangible cultural property performance representing Korea, while entering the hall, and to step forward the world of the performance. Interior circulation in the lobby of the hall has to lead spectators to feel as if to enter the world of Kim Juk-pa style Gayageum Sanjo. Within the circulation, it allows spectators to hear stories of Gayaguem Sanjo and to learn how to participate in the performance by games. Interior designs for toilets or ticket offices are done in detail to let them never forget about the world of Gayageum Sanjo they've entered even for a second. Moreover, all the details, from designation of uniforms of the staff to speech, are directed. Gayageums, decorated to show the beauty of Korea to whoever enters hall under magnificent lighting and to let them hear the scale of Gayageum, that would be layed in the performance, are displayed to stimulate spectators' interest till the start time of performance. In the beginning of the performance, a performer appears on the stage simultaneously with disappearance of the flow of Korean cloth. The performer's appearance from attitude to clothing shows magnificence included fully with the beauty of Korea. By letting speactors watch videos on Korean dance, including 3D videos, the running time of the performance is reduced, with their eyes delighted, to get them feel more regretful. Moreover, I presented a strategy for making stars Kim Juk-pa style Gayageum Sanjo performers as marketing methods such as construction of images of top-quality performance, comparative analysis of performers and explanation on their individual characteristics. On the other hand, in the important intangible cultural property village, a research center for education needs to be constructed to study education methods and materials according to specific classification of people who want to be trained. Such education, from interest induction to professional education, has to be systematically carried and contributed to development of the talent. Likewise, the important intangible cultural property village presented by this researcher is comprehensive and total cultural village capable of playing roles in tourism, viewing, education, research in education, economic activities, development of products and market, solving problems of the important intangible cultural properties and showing their reform measures.
According to this work, it is necessary to make cultural contents suitable for artistic and cultural values of important intangible cultural properties and contribute to let them get nearer people. Moreover, it leads the talent related to the properties to promote economic stability and development.
