특수교사의 정서노동과 소진 간의 관계 : 사회적 지지의 매개효과 = (The) relationship between emotional labor of special educational teachers and teachers' burnout:the mediated effect of social support

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 특수교사의 정서노동과 소진간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구는 특수교사가 경험하는 정서노동, 사회적 지지와 소진이 어떤 관계인지, 사회적 지지는 정서노동과 소진간의 관계에서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴본다. 이를 통해 특수교사의 심리적 소진을 예방하고 심리적 건강을 유지할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.
울산, 부산, 대구, 마산 지역의 6개 특수학교 교사 240명을 대상으로 정서노동, 소진, 사회적 지지를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료들의 주요 변인들 간의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 7.0을 사용하여 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 특수교사의 정서노동은 소진과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특수교사의 정서노동은 사회적 지지와 정적인 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 특수교사의 소진은 사회적 지지와 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 특수교사의 정서노동과 소진 간의 문제에서 사회적 지지가 매개하는가를 살펴본 결과, 정서노동이 사회적 지지를 매개로 하여 소진에 영향을 주지 않는다고 나타났다.
결론적으로, 특수교사의 정서노동이 소진에 영향을 미치는데 그 경로에 사회적 지지는 영향력을 끼치지 않음을 알 수 있다. 특수교사의 정서노동으로 인한 소진을 감소시키기 위해 학교의 다양한 연수프로그램 개선과 교육을 통해 특수교사 자신의 정서노동을 조절하고 학생들에게 보다 높은 질의 교육을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the medicated effect of social support in the relationship between emotional labor of special educational teachers and teachers’ burnout. This paper explored how emotional labor that special education teachers go through is associated with social support and teachers’ burnout and how social support affects the relationship between emotional labor and teachers’ burnout. This article attempted to lend assistance to special education teachers for preventing emotional burnout and preserving their psychological health by giving basic materials.
The subjects were 240 teachers worked in six special education schools in Ulsan, Busan, Deagu, and Masan. Province and emotional labor, teacher' burnout, and social support were measured. The correlation was analyzed, using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 7.0 to verify the relevance among vital factors from collected data. The results of this study are as follows.
(1) Emotional labor of special educational teachers was linked with teachers’ burnout, which showed positive relationship. (2) This approach to the relationship between emotional labor of special educational teachers and social support was coupled with positive relationship. (3) Teachers’ burnout displayed negative correlation with social support. (4) As a result of how social support mediated the matter in the terms that emotional labor of special educational teachers and teachers' burnout, it was revealed that emotional labor hasn't influence on teachers' burnout as social support mediated between emotional labor of special educational teachers and teachers' burnout.
Consequently, teachers' burnout was influenced by emotional labor of special educational teachers but social support. To reduce the teachers' burnout which results from emotional labor, special educational teachers are able to control emotional and to offer students the highly qualified educational through diverse workshop improvement and education at school.
