The present study examined at how spirituality and hope affect posttraumatic growth and adjustment, and tried to predict if one's spirituality and hope is above average how much of posttraumatic growth and adjustment are predictable. For this study, correlation analysis on spirituality, hope, and posttraumatic growth has implemented. In order to find out how spirituality, hope, and posttraumatic growth effects comparable influence, hierarchical regression analysis has been applied. Also, setup the model for spirituality, hope, and posttraumatic growth and adjustment, and use structure equation modeling (with AMOS) to verify hope and posttraumatic growth as meditators of the relation between spirituality and adjustment. And based on the suggestion, that spirituality could be presented as any religious form, it focused on finding out distinction between the group of religious and non-religious group in spirituality, hope and posttraumatic growth. For this study, a sample of 223 adults who had experienced a traumatic event completed self-report measures of trauma events questionnaires, Spirituality Scale, Korean-Dispositional Hope Scale, Posttraumatic Growth Inventory, and Positive Affect Scale. As a result of correlation analysis have shown, Spirituality, hope, and posttraumatic Growth has emotional relativeness, and in the religious group shown higher spirituality and more positive on growth in post trauma and whether having a religion or not has not shown significant affects on hope. Hierarchical regression analysis which aimed at comparable effectiveness of adjustment prediction in step 1 resulted spirituality happens to be a well predicted variable although in step 2 where hope has been applied, spirituality could not be a major factor for explaining adjustment statistically, so then hope happens to be a major affective variable on adjustment. In a result of SEM, hope and posttraumatic growth mediated between spirituality and adjustment, and posttraumatic growth defined meditator on hope and adjustment. Although, direct effect of spirituality on adjustment was not significant. Most affective variable on adjustment was hope. This study proved proved the significance of spirituality and hope affects posttraumatic growth and adjustment, and consultation intervene based on spirituality and hope give a new sight on the trauma for a client, therefore it suggests adjusting and growing on life. Limitations of the results and suggestions for future research were discussed.
