스마트러닝 환경에서 교육용 콘텐츠의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

스마트 혁명이라 불리는 시대에 살고 있는 우리는 아침에 눈을 뜨고 저녁에 눈을 감는 순간 까지 스마트폰이나 태블릿 PC같은 모바일 기기들을 이용해 무선 인터넷에 접속하고, 언제 어디서든지 원하는 정보를 검색하고 얻을 수 있는 손안에 무한정보를 갖게 되었다. 그에 따라 교육 분야도 많은 변화를 겪고 있는데, 학습의 보조도구로 컴퓨터를 사용하던 ICT교육에서 출발해 e-러닝들이 다양한 진화를 거듭하면서 최근에는 스마트러닝(Smart learning)과 소셜러닝(social learning)을 합친 S-러닝이라는 용어까지 생겨나게 되었다.
이런 시대의 흐름 속에 학습자가 학습의 주체로서 스마트기기를 활용해 지식을 얻고, 공유하고, 활용하게 되면서 모바일 콘텐츠 분야에서 교육시장이 급속히 성장하고 있다. 이런 성장세에 힘입어 수많은 교육용 콘텐츠들이 쏟아져 나오고 있고, 많은 학습자들이 스마트기기를 활용해 언제 어디에서나 교육용 콘텐츠로 학습을 하고 있지만 이런 콘텐츠들이 학습에 얼마나 유용하며 실제 교육현장에서 얼마나 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는지에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다.
이에 본 연구에서는 스마트러닝이 활성화 되는 이 시점에서 다양한 스마트기기를 이용해 학습할 수 있는 교육용 콘텐츠들의 교육적 가치를 찾기 위해 학습 환경의 변화에 관해 무선인터넷의 발달과 스마트폰의 대중화에 관한 정리를 통해 교육의 패러다임의 흐름에 관해 제시하고, 스마트러닝에 대해 고찰 해 봄으로써 e-러닝의 발달 과정부터 스마트러닝에 이르기까지 모바일 콘텐츠의 교육적 활용 가능성을 제시 하였다. 그리고 학습에 콘텐츠의 도입에 따른 스마트기기의 특징과 교육적 효율성에 대해 분석하여 모바일 콘텐츠의 교육적 활용도에 관해 제시하였으며, 교육용 콘텐츠의 장․단점을 분석하여 학습에 활용 시 보완점을 제시하였다. 또한, 분석된 자료를 통해 설문조사를 실시함으로서 교육용 콘텐츠의 학습 효과성에 대해 실제적인 데이터를 제시하였고, 교육용 콘텐츠의 활용을 다각적인 방법과 시각으로 탐색, 분석해 보고 종합해 봄으로써 교육용 콘텐츠의 활성화 방안을 제시 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We are living in the smart revolution era where we never stop access to wireless Internet by using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and PC from morning when we wake up to night when we go to bed. We also can search and get desired information anywhere at anytime, which can refer to limitless information in hands. This has led to various changes in education sector. E-learning which had started with ICT education in which computers were nothing but auxiliary tools for study has been going through a variety of evolutions. This has finally resulted in recent creation of new term, S-learning from combination of smart learning and social learning.
A rapid growth of educational market in mobile contents area has resulted from learners' independent use of smart devices for knowledge and sharing of the knowledge. Along this growth, we are bombarded with numerous educational contents and a lot of learners use smart devices to study their educational contents anywhere at anytime. However, researches on how these contents are useful for study have not been enough conducted.
Accordingly, this study aims to examine development of wireless Internet and popularization of smartphones, and analyze flows of educational paradigm to find educational values of educational contents studied by means of diverse smart devices. It also considers smart learning and suggests potentials of mobile contents in terms of educational use in ranges from developing process of e-learning to smart learning. The study analyzed not only features and educational efficiency of smart devices following the contents applied to study in order to suggest application of mobile contents for education, but advantages and disadvantages of educational contents to find improving points when used for study. A survey based on the analyzed data was conducted to show practical data about educational efficiency of educational contents. Finally, studying, analyzing and considering applications of educational contents in multiple ways and perceptions have resulted in measures to revitalize educational contents.
