The Purpose of this study were to survey the recognitions and needs for Integrative STEM education by elementary school teachers. The participation in this study were 216 elementary school teachers. A questionaries has developed after analysing the research results of journal, program, thesis and dissertation about integrated education and integrative STEM education. As a result, (1)elementary teachers frequently used shared model, webbed model, sequenced model of the Integrative education models by Forgaty. And they were prefer by elementary school teachers. The teachers has had difficulty the Integrative education because of a burden of preparation Integrative class, a insufficiency of expertise for Integrative class, a insufficiency of materials and reference for Integrative class. And the recognition for Integrative education' need was an affirmative response. (2)The most of teachers has not had knowledge of the Integrative STEM education. But They have recognised the need of the Integrative STEM education. That was why increase the creativity, the thinking, application in real life, students' interest and to be understand in connection with other subject's contents. (3)The needs for integrative STEM education were program development, teacher's understanding. The Integrative STEM education program should have developed to increase creativity, problem solving ability, literacy, students' interest. And the teachers has expected that the Integrative STEM education is very effective for science and technology gifted and talented. According to the results of this study, we need teacher's training program for the Integrative STEM education, various activity program developed by STEM professionals. Also, we should have developed the Integrative STEM program for elementary school, and analyzed the results of program's effect.
