퇴직자 창업교육과 기업가적 특성이창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 베이비붐 세대의 본격적인 은퇴를 앞두고 고령화와 조기퇴직의 환경이 급속하게 진행되고 있다. 정부는 고용 대책의 일환으로 이들의 전문성 및 사회적 네트웍크를 활용하고 고용을 높이기 위하여 창업 육성 정책을 본격적으로 시행하고 있다.
본 연구는 창업교육에 대한 단행본, 선행연구논문, 정부 간행물, 웹사이트 등의 고찰을 통한 문헌적 연구방법과 설문조사를 통한 실증적 조사연구 방법을 사용하였으며, 조사목적과 연구범위를 고려하여, 창업교육 프로그램을 통해 창업의지에 미치는 결정요인을 검증해 봄으로써 창업의지를 높일 수 있는 창업교육 프로그램의 결정요인이 무엇인지를 확인해 보는데 목적이 있다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 크게 두가지로 진행 하였다. 첫째, 창업가 특성요인 및 창업교육 프로그램의 이론적 고찰을 검토하였고, 둘째, 국민은행 퇴직자에게 진행된 창업교육 프로그램을 대상으로 창업교육 프로그램의 만족도, 기업가적 특성, 실무위주 창업교육 특성이 창업의지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대하여 설문조사를 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다.
본 연구에서 나타난 실증적 분석결과를 간략하게 정리하면 다음과 같다. 창업교육 만족도, 기업가적 특성, 실무위주 창업교육 특성은 모두 창업의지에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구는 퇴직자 창업의지를 높이는 방안으로 창업역량 및 기업가 정신을 높일 수 있는 전문 창업교육 프로그램 개발과 퇴직자가 보유한 기술과 전문성을 바탕으로 희망업종에 따라 지속적으로 역량을 강화할 수 있는 다양한 실무위주의 심화 교육 프로그램이 필요하다는 점에서 퇴직자 창업교육이 나아가야할 방향의 기초를 제공하였다.
마지막으로 본 연구 결과에 대한 다양한 시사점과 연구의 한계점 및 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

Recently in Korea, under jobless growth period, the social phenomenon of sudden aging and early retirement, together with youth unemployment, brought a big impact. Moreover, as baby-boom generation of about 7 million people had entered a main retirement aging, that will lead to shortage of production manpower and job seeking of senior generation with retirement age. Also participation and interest about entrepeneurship had increased gradually.
This study has attempted to identify the critical factors affecting the willingness of business start-up by the educational programes for retired employees who participated in educational program of Kookmin Bank business start-up program. The research has been made by examining the documents to find out the factors affecting the willingness of business start-up and formulating a research model with hypothesis. To verify each hypothesis, an field research and analysis were implemented with the retired employees.
Actual analysis are summarized as follows.
Firstly, the satisfaction of such education program has a positive effect on the willingness of business start-up.
Secondly, the entreprenship of each person has a positive effect on the willingness of business start-up.
Thirdly, practice based program has a positive effect on the willingness of business start-up.
The research implies that the effects of educational program are highly affected by the satisfaction of program and the practice based education. Therefore a preparation for designing the business start-up program based on the analysis of peresonal background has to be made. This can make the participants expertise when they start up the business. To have this kind of systematic and professional program in place, colleges, industries, govermental departments have to be neworked closely to keep the overall management including a joint research, development of programs and operation.
Finally, this present study has suggested proposals for various implications, limitations of study, and future researches.
