청소년의 부적절한 휴대폰 사용에 영향을 미치는 또래애착과 충동성에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 청소년들의 휴대폰 사용과 관련하여 시간과 요금의 과다문제, 휴대폰 사용에 있어서의 에티켓문제, 학업이나 집중력의 방해를 부적절한 휴대폰 사용으로 보고, 또래애착과 충동성이 부적절한 휴대폰 사용에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하는데 있다. 이를 통하여 부적절한 휴대폰 사용을 감소시키기 위한 지도방안들을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
조사기간으로는 2011년 4월 24일과 5월 1일 두 차례에 걸쳐 실시되었으며, 연구대상은 223명의 노량진, 대방, 반포지역의 중·고 1.2.3학년의 휴대폰 소지 청소년을 선정하여 질문지를 작성하게 하였다.
회수된 설문지의 자료처리 방법으로는 SPSS Win 12.0을 사용하여 기술통계, t-test, Correlation, Regression을 실시, 통계분석 하였다.
연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 또래애착 전체에서 여자청소년이 남자청소년 보다, 고등학생이 중학생보다 높게 나타났으며, 또래애착의 하위요인인 의사소통, 신뢰감에서도 유의한 차이를 보였다.
둘째, 충동성의 경우에는 성별과 학년에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다.
셋째, 부적절한 휴대폰 사용에 있어 여자청소년일 때, 고등학생에게서, 또래애착이 높고, 충동성이 높을 때 과다시간․과다요금과 부적절한 휴대폰 사용 전체에서 정적인 상관관계를 보였다.
넷째, 회귀분석 결과 충동성, 소외감, 성별이 부적절한 휴대폰 사용 전체에 영향을 주는 요인으로 밝혀졌다.
본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 부적절한 휴대폰 사용을 줄이기 위한 몇 가지 제언을 하고자 한다.
첫째, 청소년의 소외감에 대한 파악과 소외감을 덜 느끼도록 하는 치료적인 개입과 건강한 또래관계를 형성하는 프로그램들을 활성화하는 방안이 필요하다. 또한 또래애착이 충동성과 상호작용하여 부적절한 휴대폰사용이 되지 않도록 하는 교육적 지도방안이 함께 고려되어야 한다.
둘째, 부적절한 휴대폰 사용에 큰 설명력을 갖는 충동성에 관하여 충동성이 높은 청소년들에 대한 가정과 교육기관과 상담기관과의 연계로 전문적인 교육과 치료가 이루어지도록 하는 시스템을 구축해야 한다. 또한 충동성이 높은 청소년들의 특성을 고려한 치료와 상담이 되도록 전문적인 인력들이 투입되어야한다.
셋째, 적절한 수준의 휴대폰 사용에 대한 전 국민적인 함의가 이루어 져야 한다. 이를 위해 전문가 집단을 구성하여 적절한 휴대폰 사용수칙을 제시하는 것과 다양한 홍보를 위한 다각적인 접근을 시도할 필요가 있다고 본다.
마지막으로, 후속연구를 통해 또래애착의 질적 차이에 따라 휴대폰 사용의 차이와 또래관계에 변화를 가져오는지에 대한 연구도 필요하다고 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of colleague-affection and impulse of adolescence on inappropriate use of the cellular phones, considering problems on time management, over-charged fee, etiquette over the phone and disturbance in study and concentration come from inappropriate use of the cell phones. Through this study foundational materials will be given to build a guidance for reduction of inappropriate use of cell phones.
Researches were done twice in 24 April and 1 May of 2011, and subject of researches was 223 mid/high school students from grade 7 to 12 in Noryangjin, Daebang, Banpo area, and they were to respond through questionnaire. Collected questionnaire was analysed through descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation, regression using SPSS Win 12.0.
The results are as follows:
Firstly, regarding colleague-affection it appeared for female to be higher than male, for high school students to be higher than middle school students. Also communication and trust which are factors of colleague-affection showed meaningful differences.
Secondly, regarding the impulse there was no meaningful difference shown among the genders and grades.
Thirdly, regarding inappropriate use of cell phones if female student, from high school students, higher colleague-affection was shown, and when high impulse, mutual relationship between overtime, overcharge and inappropriate use of cell phones.
Fourthly, regarding regression analysis, impulse, feeling of alienation and gender were found as factors affecting inappropriate use of cell phones.
Considering the results from this study I would like to give several suggestions in order to reduce inappropriate use of cell phones.
Firstly, understanding feeling of alienation of adolescence and developing programs helping with such feelings by building healthy relationship is necessary. Also educational guidance has to be given in order to prevent the impulse and colleague-affection which in mutual relationship cause inappropriate use of cell phones.
Secondly, regarding the impulse which is one of the main factor causing inappropriate cell phone use, it is necessary to build the system that provides professional education and care to impulsive adolescence in connection among house, educational institution and counselling institution. Also considering the impulsiveness of adolescence, professional workers has to be committed for adequate care and counselling.
Thirdly, whole national movement for appropriate level of use of cell phones is necessary. For this it is necessary to form professional groups to suggest appropriate regulations regarding cell phone use, and to have various tries for various advertisement.
Lastly, proceeding researches has to be done whether the quality difference of colleague-affection causes the change in cell phone use and colleague relationship.
