      I would like to verify whether there are cultural differences from intrinsic motivation and physical competence information for athletics students have by investigating the effect of physical competence information on intrinsic motivation and preference at physical education class.
      Survey research was conducted on the objectives which is 650 high school students in four coed school located in Busan, and questionnaire was collected with answers through Self-administration method.
      The questionnaire is total 53questions constituted with 4questions regarding the demographic characteristics, 17questions regarding the athletics intrinsic motivation and 32questions regarding the physical competence information.
      Athletics intrinsic motivation questionnaire used by Um, Sungho; Kim, Byoungjun; Soh, Myoungsun was used to check up physical education class intrinsic motivation, and Korean version of Physical Competence Information Scale(KPCIS) developed by Lyu, Minjeong & Pyo, Naesook was used to measure the physical competence information.
      The results with ANOVA, simple correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis using SPSS ver 18.0 program for data processing method of this study are as followings.
      1. There appears only the grade gap on intrinsic motivation and physical competence information at gender and grade gap. Concretely among physical education class intrinsic motivation, only grade gap was found in competence, intrinsic information/technique improvement of physical competence information and compliment factors.

      2. There appears only gender gap on intrinsic motivation and physical competence information of teacher's gender. Precisely, gender gap was found at competence factors of physical education class intrinsic motivation.

      3. There represents differences in all factors of athletics preference, intrinsic motivation, physical competence information, and the more they prefer physical education class, the higher it represents in all factors.

      4. Athletics intrinsic motivation is closely linked to physical competence information, and especially, if interest/effort, competence information is high, all factors of physical competence information represent high.

      5. At the group who prefers physical education classes, interest/effort factor and vicarious experience of physical competence information among athletics intrinsic motivations have the most impact on.
