In order to analyze collected data, factor analysis, t-test, and Analysis of variance (ANOVA) has been conducted with the use of SPSS V 18.0 statistical programme. The results are follows
1. Delinquency level according to demographic characteristics
In view of the delinquency factor of boy students and girl students, it is presented that the rate of delinquency of boy students is higher than the rate of delinquency of girl students. This shows that there is a different role expectation about the activity of males and females due to the physiological gap and different points of view.
In difference analysis of different grades of delinquency factors, according to the order of 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade, 1st grade has the highest rate of delinquency in family delinquency. According to the order of 1st, 3rd, 2nd grade, 1st grade has the highest rate of delinquency in school delinquency. According to the order of 1st, 3rd, and 2nd grade, 1st grade has the highest rate of delinquency in social delinquency.
2. Difference of delinquency analysis according to the level of sports participation.
Regarding the results of difference analysis of delinquency factors and the level of exercise participation, the level of delinquency about family delinquency, school delinquency and social delinquency on students who do not participate in sports activity is higher than the level of delinquency on students who participate in sports activity.
3. The difference of delinquency analysis according to sport’s participation time.
Based on the results of difference analysis of delinquency factors and sports participation time, delinquency level of students who don't participate in sports is the highest compared to the delinquency level of students who participate in sports related to family, school, and social delinquency. Delinquency level of students who rarely participate in sports is quite different from delinquency level of students who participate in sports. In family delinquency however, delinquency level of students who participate in sports less than 30 minutes is not much different from the delinquency level of students who participate in sports for more than 3 hours. It is presented that students who participate in sports for more than 3 hours have an active attitude to life.
As a combined result above, we can see that sports participation has a positive effect to prevent juveniles from committing delinquency. It turns out sports participation rate of juveniles needs to be encouraged, the development of good juvenile programmes and leadership of sports concerned leaders needs to be encouraged.
