청소년이 지각한 부모갈등이 우울증상에 미치는 영향에서 부적응적 사고의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of the Adolescent’s Maladaptive Thoughts on the Relationships between Perceived Parents Conflict and Depressive Symptoms

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등이 우울증상에 미치는 영향에서 부적응적 사고의 매개효과를 검증하였다.
서울 및 경기지역 중학교 1, 2, 3학년 학생 693명을 대상으로 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등 척도(CPIC), 한국판 우울 척도(CES-D), 부적응적 사고 척도(MTS-A)를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다.
수집된 자료는 SPSS 15.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 각 변인의 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고, 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 Pearson의 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 각 변인들간의 영향력을 알아보기 위해서 중다회기분석을 실시하였다. 또한, 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등과 우울증상에 미치는 영향에서 부적응적 사고의 매개효과를 알아보기 위하여 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제시한 매개효과 검증절차를 실시하였으며, 매개효과에 대한 유의성 검증을 위해 Sobel(1982)의 방법을 사용하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등이 우울증상에 미치는 영향력이 유의하여 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등이 높을수록 우울증상이 심한 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등이 부적응적 사고에 미치는 영향력이 유의하여 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등이 높을수록 부적응적 사고가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 부적응적 사고가 우울증상에 미치는 영향력이 유의하여 청소년의 부적응적 사고가 높을수록 우울증상이 심한 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등과 우울증상의 관계에서 부적응적 사고 총점, 내면화, 외현화, 그리고 하위변인의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 모두 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 외현화 부적응적 사고보다 내면화 부적응적 사고가 우울증상에 대해 더 높은 설명력을 나타내었다.
이에 따라 청소년이 지각한 부모갈등 과 우울증상의 관계의 중요성을 확인하였고, 부적응적 사고의 원인론적 특성을 확인하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effects of adolescent maladaptive thoughts on the relationship between Parents Conflict and depressive symptoms. The participants were 693 middle school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The following instruments were used to assess the participants: The Children’s Perception of Interparental Conflict Scale (CPIC), The Center for Epidemiological studies for Depression scale (CES-D) and The Maladaptive Thoughts Scale for Adolescents. The data were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 program. The average and standard deviation the variables was calculated. The completed the following questionnaries : Pearson’s vicariate correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and Baron and Kenny’s (1986) model.
The results showed the follows;
First, the Parents Conflict perceived by adolescent had positive correlations with depressive symptoms.
Second, the Parents Conflict perceived by adolescent had positive correlations with maladaptive thoughts.
Third, the maladaptive thoughts of adolescent had positive correlations with depressive symptoms.
Forth, as a result of verifying mediation effect among the total score of maladaptive thoughts, internalizing, externalizing and mediation effects of subvariables in the relation between the Parents Conflict perceived by adolescent and depressive symptoms, it was confirmed that there were a significant partial mediation effect among them and the internalizing maladaptive thoughts had higher affactive power about depressive symptoms than the externalizing maladaptive thoughts.
In conclusion, these findings showed the significance effects of the adolescent's maladaptive thoughts on the relationships between perceived parents conflict and depressive symptoms.
