결혼이주여성의 성역할정체감과 결혼만족도에 관한 연구 = A study on gender role identity and martial satisfaction of marriage-migrant women

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국 남성과 결혼한 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 출신국에 따라 국가별 만족도에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고, 이주자, 소수자 그리고 여성으로서 한국사회에서 매우 특수한 위치에 있는 결혼이주여성의 성역할정체감에 따른 결혼만족도의 차이를 알아보고자 한다.
이에 본 연구에서는 태국, 몽골, 필리핀, 베트남, 중국 5개국의 여성을 대상으로 설문을 하였고, 최종 설문지 359부를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 17.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 기술통계, t-test와 anova, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 하였으며, 필요에 따라 Duncan's 사후검정(Duncan's Multiple Range test)을 실시하였다.
본 연구결과 삶의 만족이 높을수록, 성역할정체감 하위요인인 남성성·여성성·양성성 정체감이 높을수록, 결혼이주여성이 인식하는 결혼만족도를 높게 지각하고 있었다.
이상의 결과를 바탕으로 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도를 높이기 위해 다음과 같이 제언하고자 한다. 우선 결혼이주여성의 성역할정체감을 높일 수 있도록 이주여성을 위한 다양한 사회참여프로그램을 제공해 주어야 한다. 또, 경제적 수준이 높지 않음을 고려하여 취업이나 창업 프로그램을 통해 경제적 자립을 할 수 있도록 결혼이주여성의 역량강화프로그램이 요구된다. 또한, 결혼이주여성에게 지역주민, 친척, 남편과의 의사소통이나 문화적인 정체감은 한 개인의 삶에 만족을 높여주는 중요한 자원이다. 지역사회의 새로운 구성원으로서 광범위하게 자리 잡고 있는 결혼이주여성들을 위해 지역 특수성에 맞는 정책 수립과 사회적·문화적으로 고립되지 않도록 인식개선, 지역 사회 가족들이 함께 참여할 수 있는 여러 가지 프로그램 마련과 가족 상호간의 이해증진 노력, 이웃과의 교류관계 향상 등 사회복지서비스를 확충해야 한다. 그리고 결혼생활에 어려움이 있을 때 상담을 통해 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 이웃과 지역주민들이 지지자가 되어 줄 수 있는 사회적 방안도 필요하다. 이들의 존재와 활동은 문화적 다양성과 타문화에 대한 수용성이 전파되고, 이는 곧 결혼생활에 만족감을 높여주어 우리 사회가 건강한 사회로 발전할 수 있을 것이다.
본 연구는 결혼이주여성의 국적에 따라 성역할정체감과 결혼만족도를 관련시켜 봄으로써 결혼이주여성을 한 집단으로 볼 것이 아니라 출신국 국적에 따라 다르다는 것을 환기시키는 데 본 연구가 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다. 그리고 이를 통해 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도 향상과 성공적인 삶의 정착에 도움을 제공하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempts to see difference of satisfaction up to each nationality, target of migrant women who married to Korean men and understand difference of martial satisfaction according to gender role identity as migrants, minorities and women in Korea.
In this study, it did a survey targeting of women from 5 countries such as Thailand, Mongol, Philippine, Vietnam and China and used 359 questionnaires. To analyse, this study did frequency analysis, variable analysis, descriptive statics, t-test and anova, correlation analysis and regression analysis, using SPP 17.0. Also it did Duncan's Multiple Range test as needs.
The result of this study showed that martial satisfaction are the most, as their life satisfaction are high, as identity of masculinity, feminity, androgyny are high which is a subordinate factor of gender role identity.
Based on above results, to improve martial satisfaction of marriage-migrant women, this thesis suggest as follows; First, to improve gender role identity of marriage-migrant women, this thesis proposed that there should be various social participation program. Also, considering an economic standard of marriage-migrant women are low, it requires to make program for getting a job or economic independence, increasing their ability. In addition, communication and cultural identity with neighbors, relatives and husband are important resource for marriage-migrant women to improve life satisfaction. It needs to arrange policy making which is suitable for area specialties and various program for preventing to be isolated from society and culture for marriage-migrant women as new member of community. And it asks to expand social welfare to understand between families and marriage-migrant women and improve relationship with neighbors. Then, it needs social way to resolve the difficulties of marriage life through counseling so that neighbors can be supporters for marriage-migrant women. The existence and activity of marriage-migrant women could spread cultural diversity and acceptance of different culture, then it could improve their marriage life satisfaction, through this Korean society could develope to healthy society.
This study tries to relate gender role identity and martial satisfaction are different for marriage-migrant women as their nationalities, so it could help to call attention to marriage-migrant women are not one group but different to each nationality. Also, through these, this study tries to provide help marriage-migrant women to improve their martial satisfaction and settlement of successful life.
