The Segmentation of tourism market has been a long time research object of Tourism Science as well as a important task of tourism industry. As the desire of tourist has been diversified, the segmentation of tourism market is essential, and by this the effective marketing plan, such as advertisement and public affairs directed to the target market, can be fixed. This tourist oriented marketing philosophy intensified the difference of market, and this intensified difference of market has highlighted the importance of tourist oriented marketing philosophy. Also there has been many studies related to attribute factors, selection theorem of tourist spot, and constraints of selection, but there has been little study carried out through out the tourist profiles generalizing all these factors. Therefore the back ground of hypothesis of this study is that there are attributes acting as boosting factor in selecting tourism spot as well as limiting factor as constraints factor in selecting tourism spot. So the unified study model, including all these factors, to achieve the maximum effectiveness, has been introduced and practically tested.
For this purpose the enquetes survey has been made through the adults, who has made at least one overseas trip during last 3 years, at Incheon International airport. Total 400 enquetes were distributed, and among 364 enquetes collected, 286 enquetes were actually used for this study, after eliminating unfaithful and defected enquetes. The measuring tool were all concerned factors selected by reliability and validity test for empirical analysis, and the data has been processed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis.
The result of this study was as follows.
First, according to the factor analysis result of variables, set-up for this study, the attributes of tourism spot were consist of convenience, localization, attraction, activeness, accessibility and kindness, while the constraint factors were consist of social, psychological, personal relations, individual capability and immanent factors.
Second, according to the result of hypothesis verification, influence in tourism spot selection from attributes and constraints of tourism spot, among lower factors of attributes, convenience and attraction gave positive influence in tourism spot selection, while, among lower factors of constraints, social constraint gave negative influence.
Third, according to the analysis result of influence in tourism spot selection from attributes and constraints of tourism spot, in China localization and attraction, among factors of attributes, gave positive influence, while social constraint among constraints gave negative influence. In SE Asia the attraction factor among attributes gave positive influence, while social constraint gave negative influence in selecting tourism spot.
Fourth, according the analysis result of influence in tourism spot selection from attributes and constraints of tourism spot as per the demographic characteristics, the attraction and convenience factors showed positive influence in tourism spot selection from both male and female.
According the analysis result of influence in tourism spot selection by marriage status, among attributes the attraction and convenience factors showed positive influence while individual capability among constraints gave negative influence in tourism spot selection from the single, but only attraction and convenience factors showed positive influence from the married.
According the analysis result of influence by age level, among attributes the attraction factor showed positive influence while individual capability among constraints gave negative influence in tourism spot selection from the 20's. From the 30's among attributes the attraction and convenience factors showed positive influence. But from the 40's among attributes the attraction, convenience in attributes and personal relations in constraints factors showed positive influence, while psychological factor in constraints gave negative influence.
Fifth, according to the analysis result of influence in tourism spot selection from attributes and constraints of tourism spot as per the tour pattern, the attraction factor in attributes gave positive influence from 1'st visit, but both attraction and convenience factors gave positive influence from 2-3 times visit. But only attraction factor gave positive influence from over 4 times visit.
Last, according to the analysis result of influence in tourism spot selection as per the tour pattern, the attraction factor gave positive influence from individual tour, while attraction and tourism support factors in attributes and individual capability in constraints gave positive influence, and accessibility of constraints gave negative influence from package and honeymoon tour.
The result of this study gave the following implications.
First, as the result showed the positive influence from the attraction and convenience factors and negative influence from social constraints, the information related to tourism infra, such as living standard, climate, safety and cleanliness of tourism spot, food and shopping, should be given promptly. Particularly the influence of social net-work, such as Internet, and Tweeter, Facebook by Smart-phone has been growing, it is necessary to use these social network system as the passage of tourism information. As the intangible character, that is the important character of tourism product, could give negative influence as well, so the prompt and clear information providing is the most important point.
Second, considering the positive influence from the attraction and tourism convenience factors, but negative influence form social constraint factor as well as the majority of local tourists' tour pattern is package tour, the tour package should not rely on price, but rely on differentiation, when developing new package, so that the custom
