The purpose of this thesis is to get the implication of the effective management of the standard for childcare curriculum through the consideration of the teachers’ recognition level of the standard childcare curriculum and management conditions by the respective field and the general understanding of the hindrance elements during the operation of the standard childcare curriculum.
Issues for the study to achieve the purpose of the study shall be as follows.
First : What is the teachers’ recognition level of the standard childcare curriculum?
Second : How well does the teachers’ operation condition for the standard childcare curriculum?
Third : What is the teachers’ recognition of the hindrance elements during the operation of the standard childcare curriculum?
In this study, the collected questionnaires have been classified and analyzed by using the computerization statistics program of SPSS 15.0 for Window. The author of the thesis considered the general features and composing distribution of the studying objects in frequency and percentage and exercised ANOVA Analysis and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test to investigate the recognition of the studying objects by background variable, operation condition of the standard childcare curriculum, and hindrance elements during the operation of the standard childcare curriculum.
The final conclusions displayed by the applicable analysis accompanied by the study issues are as follows.
First, Though the teachers’ recognition level of advanced experiential level, interest and understanding level, and the educational contents and guidance of the child care are showed to be high, comparatively lacked parts shall be complemented continuously through educational teaching courses for the teachers.
Second, Regarding the operation of the standard childcare curriculum, the operation levels in the lower six areas would be showed to be high. Especially, the basic life area and physical exercise area showed the result of being well done comparatively.
Third, Regarding the operation hindrance elements that the teachers would recognize during their children caring, the teachers would think that ‘Caring the children for all day long and lack of enough time for the care due to heavy load of duty’ would be the biggest hindrance elements and then ‘Lack of educational training program for the teachers’ would be the next hindrance elements for the operation of the standard childcare curriculum. Meanwhile, excessive ratio of children to teachers showed to be the lowest element and the teachers would recognize that the ratio of children to teachers was the lowest hindrance element and al the hindrance elements need to be supplemented for the effective management of the standard childcare curriculum.
