중학생의 부모양육행동과 의사소통능력 및 분노표현방식의 관계

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among parenting behavior perceived by middle school students, their communication ability and anger expression type.
In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the research questions posed in this study were as follows :
1. Are there any relationships between parenting behavior and communication ability?
2. Are there any relationships between parenting behavior and anger expression type?
3. Are there any relationships between communication ability and anger expression type?
The participants in this study were 283 students in one coeducation middle school in Chungbuk. The questionnaires to measure parenting behavior, communication ability and anger expression type were administered to the students. The data obtained were analyzed by F-tests using the SAS program.
The results of this study are as follows :
1. There were significant relationships between parenting behavior and communication ability. The higher group in parenting behavior's monitoring, discipline through reasoning, and affection scored significantly higher in communication ability than the lower group in the parenting behaviors. The lower group in parenting behavior's neglect scored significantly higher in communication ability in the parenting behavior.
2. There were significant relationships between the parenting behaviors and anger expression type. The higher group in parenting behavior's monitoring, discipline through reasoning and affection scored significantly higher in anger control than the lower group in parenting behaviors. The higher group in parenting behavior's over-expectation, over-protection and neglect scored significantly higher in anger-out than the lower group in the parenting behaviors. The lower group in parenting behavior's discipline through reasoning and affection scored significantly higher in anger-out than the higher group in the parenting behaviors. The higher group in parenting behavior's inconsistency, over-expectation, over-protection, physical abuse and neglect scored significantly higher in anger-in than the lower group in the parenting behaviors. The lower group in parenting behavior's discipline through reasoning and affection scored significantly lower in anger-in than the higher group in the parenting behaviors.
3. There was a significant relationship between the communication ability and anger-in among anger expression types while there was no significant relationships between the communication ability and anger-control and anger-out among anger expression types. The lower group in communication ability scored significantly higher in anger-in than the higher group in communication ability while the lower group in communication ability did not score significantly higher in anger-control or anger-out than the higher group in communication ability.
