In this study, by analyzing the ordinary children's different attitudes between the class without disabled children and the class with disabled children, and the attitude toward the unified class from the demographic variables, we will investigate ordinary children's attitude toward the unified class with disabled children
The results from this study are as follows.
First, in the primary school, there were different attitudes of ordinary students toward disabled students between the class without disabled students and the class with disabled students, and the ordinary students in the class with disabled students thought positive about the united class. And the ordinary students in the unified class with the children having Down's syndrome and the ordinary students without disabled children had the similar attitude or negative thoughts.
Second, from the analysis on the result of the ordinary children's attitudes toward the unified class according to the demographic variables, the factors of different attitudes depended on ordinary students' gender, where they live, their grade, experience of the unified class, and experience of field trips to the facilities for disabled students.
Relatively ordinary female students had more positive thoughts than ordinary male students on the unified class and the groups in the towns and villages of Wonjoo showed more positive attitudes than the groups in the downtown of Wonjoo city. The more experiences of the unified class and field trips to the facilities for disabled students they had, the more positive attitudes they showed. And, in the lower grades, the third-year students showed relatively more positive attitudes than the one of the first-year students.
The significance of this study is that in order to make the ordinary students have positive attitudes toward disabled students from the unified class, the correlation with disabled students is required by considering the demographic variables of ordinary students and that the teaching both students in the unified class should happen systematically according to types.
