2. What effect does the literacy transaction process through information picture books have on the infantile learning-related social skill?
This study took the following steps to verify this study problem.
First, the selection of the information picture books for the literacy transaction process through information picture books in this study was taken considering not only the informational accuracy, but also literary value and creativity in the factual meaning, based both on the information picture book which Sim Hyang-boon(2008) selected in practice and on the book which Choi Mi-sook and Park Ji-young(2010) analyzed the contents of the information picture book selected by Ahn Hyo-Jeong(2001), and the composition of the literacy transaction process activity through information picture books put an aim on improving the infantile linguistic ability and learning-related social skill based on the infantile development and interest, consisting of the living areas in the 7th preschool curriculum and the literacy transaction process by Goforth and Spillman(1994).

Third, the test before and after the experiment treatment was conducted to verify the effect of this study, and the test instrument of linguistic ability was 『Preschool Receptive-Exprssive Language Scale: PRES)』developed by Kim Young-tae, Seong Tae-je, and Lee Yun-kyung(2003), and the test instrument of learning-related social skill was『learning-related social skill scale(K-LRSS)』edited and supplemented for a Korean situation by Kwak Ah-jeong(2006) based on LRSS(Learning-Related Social Skill) developed by McCelland(2002).
Fourth, the collected data from this study was analyzed by SPSS WINDOW 17.0 program, and the computation of basic data was come out with the descriptive statistics of the standard deviation and the mean. The followings are the conclusion and summary of the study result suggested under the study problems.
First, it turned out that the literacy transaction process through information picture books had an effect on the improvement of infantile linguistic ability. The experiment group turned out to be more statistically improved than the control group in the subarea of linguistic ability, receptive and expressive linguistic ability, and their subarea, cognitive semantics, phonology and syntax, and pragmatics.
Second, it turned out that the literacy transaction process through information picture books had an effect on the improvement of learning-related social skill. The experiment group turned out to be more statistically improved than the control group in the subarea of learning-related social skill, proficiency, self-assertion, self-control, and adaptation.
This result shows that the literacy transaction process through the information picture books is effective to make a positive change in the learning-related social skill that children interpret the information to solve the problem for themselves by letting them not only control and learn the information or knowledge, but also adapt to the proper vocabulary and sentence expression in forming a concept with an adequacy of the expressive linguistic ability for the object or situation, as it actively interacts with the information picture books, peers, and teachers extending to various activities for composing and creating a knowledge and an information, based on the infantile interest and experience.
Moreover, based on this study result, it is expected to have an effect on the formation of member's ability required in the modern society by making children themselves find the information and learn the knowledge focusing on a self-directed ability adaptable to the globalization and informationization.
