특성화 고등학교 직업교육의 현황분석과 개선방안 : 서울지역 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

특성화 고등학교는 소질과 적성, 능력이 유사한 학생을 대상으로 특정분야 인재를 양성하거나 현장실습 등 체험위주의 교육을 전문적으로 실시하는 고등학교이지만 적성과 소질 보다는 중학교 성적을 맞춰서 진학한 학생들이 많았다. 그래서 졸업자 취업률은 갈수록 낮아지고 진학률이 계속해서 높아져 특성화 고등학교 입학의 기피 현상이 갈수록 심화되어 정체성의 큰 위기를 겪고 있다.
본 연구의 목적은 특성화 고등학교가 직업교육기관으로서 교육목적에 부합할 수 있어야 하며, 학생들의 새로운 가치관 형성을 위한 진로지도 개선방안을 모색하려는데 그 목적이 있다.
연구의 목적에 달성하기 위하여, 서울에 위치한 특성화 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며 다음과 같이 연구결과가 나타났다.
첫째, 특성화 고등학교는 산업수요맞춤형고(마이스터고)를 통한 취업선도 모델로 정착하여 학생의 특기․적성을 살리면서 국가경제발전에 공헌할 수 있는 전문 기술인을 양성해야 한다.
둘째, 직업교육기관과의 협약(MOU)을 통해 특성화고의 취업 지원을 강화함으로써 재직경험만으로 대학에 가는 재직자 특별전형 도입대학이 확대되어 선 취업 후 진학 체제를 구축하여야 한다.
셋째, 현재 지원중인 장학금과 특성화고 학생 수업료 및 학교운영지원비 감면 조례에 대한 개정을 통해 특성화고 학생 무상교육 확대가 필요하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Specialized high schools are targeting that students of similar ability areas such as personnel training, or experience of fieldwork carried out professionally-oriented education. But rather than competence and aptitude of students seeking enrollment in middle school grades are based on. Due to Graduate employment rate is getting lower and entering to the high school rate has risen which makes many students to avoid enter the specialized high school. Another word, specialized high schools are undergoing on identity crisis.
The purpose of this study specialization as a high school vocational education and training must be suitable for the purpose, and to improve the new values for the formation of students' career guidance.
In order to achieve the goal, survey was performed from specialized high school students in Seoul. A summary of research are as follows
First, specialized high schools must be good examples for employment
through the Meister school, And to develop students' skills to help developing countries as professional technician.
Second, Through MOU with Vocational education institutions, we need to strengthen the employment support and create system that give opportunity students could go to the college only based on their carrier history.
Third, we need to make some more chances that students could get free education more often than now, and also have a better system for scholarship, and supporting schools financially.
