The purpose of this study was to investigate how the bibliotherapy program of elementary school students learning disabilities has an effect on the self-esteem and peer relationships. The hypotheses are as follows. First, the self-esteem of the experimental group which was treated the bibliotherapy program would be more enhanced than that of control group. Second, Peer relationships levels of the other experimental groups before the application of the bibliotherapy program on the would be more enhanced than that of control group.
26 students are sampled who earned low records of assessment of national-level academic achievement test. They are subdivided into two groups : experinental and controlled group.
The result of this study are as follows.
First, self esteem score of the students who participated in the bibliotherapy program was more increased significantly than that of students who were in controlled group.
Second, peer relationship score of the students who participated in the program was more increased in a significantly degree than that of students who were in controlled group.
