Traditional play is a medium to link the culture of the past and present time. That is susceptible of several interpretations, and the types of traditional play is very diverse. Modern people are responsible for conserving traditional play, which requires a lot of efforts. Basically, every kind of traditional play should remain intact, but also should be harmonized with modern times. To make it happen, discreet and quality education should be provided. Preschoolers who are first exposed to Korean classical music should receive inclusive education that integrates the six sections of the standard curriculum of daycare centers in order to foster their musical and general creativity, and the inclusive education should be comprehensive of appreciating, sharing, singing, playing musical instruments, art, formative activities and game activities. Traditional play should be taught as part of inclusive education, and learners should be taught to acquire well-rounded sensory experiences. And teachers should try to develop in consideration of children's interest the kind of learning methods that could stir up their active participation. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of play-based inclusive learning on the improvement of creativity on the assumption that this sort of inclusive learning would be one of sure ways to stir up children's interest and spontaneous, creative music activities. Literature of creativity, learning by play, learning by music play and inclusive education by traditional play was reviewed, and an inclusive Korean classical music education program was prepared in consideration of the physical development of preschoolers to provide national classical music education step by step. Examples to show teachers how to teach preschoolers were presented in the program. The findings of the study were as follows:
First, six stages were selected to offer inclusive early childhood education by utilizing the traditional Yut play: appreciating/sharing, singing, physical expression, rhythmic activities/playing musical instruments, formative/art activities and traditional play activities. The preschoolers who received that education got to take a better attitude to traditional play and have growing interest in traditional culture while they appreciated and sang creative children's songs, played rhythmic instruments involving Janggu and engaged in making activities as part of art activities.
Second, after they received the inclusive education by utilizing traditional Yut play, a survey was conducted to see what results the education produced. And it's found that the preschoolers got more interested in traditional play.
Third, the inclusive guidance of creative children's songs, play and art activities allowed the preschoolers to be aware of the meaning of children's songs, and they found children's songs to be very accessible and were on better terms with one another while they played together.
Fourth, the traditional play had the largest impact on the health, language and art sections among the six sections of the early childhood curriculum, and exerted an influence on the other three sections as well. Overall, that affected all the six sections of the curriculum.
Thus, this study attempted to suggest effective ways to further the spontaneous participation of preschoolers, to foster their flexibility and creativity through their unrestricted imagination in a virtual world, not in the real world, to let them value process above outcome and to address their needs in the course of play. And the traditional play was found to exercise the greatest influence on the physical exercise, communication and social relationship sections of the early childhood curriculum, and that affected all the six sections involving basic life, physical exercise, social relationship, communication, nature inquiry and art experience even though inclusive education was provided just by utilizing the traditional play.
