내현적 자기애성향과 내면화된 수치심 관계에서의 인지적 정서조절 전략의 매개효과

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of Cognitive Emotion Regulation in the relationships between Covert Narcissism and Internalized Shame.
The subjects were 412 Chonbuk national university students in grades 1 through 4 in Chon-buk province. They were assessed by The Covert Narcissism Scale(CNS), The Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(CERQ), and The Internalized Shame Scale(ISS).
The results showed as follows:
First, Covert narcissism and internalized shame showed a significant positive correlations. And covert narcissism had positive relationship with maladaptive emotion regulation strategies. However, covert narcissism and adaptive emotion regulation strategies showed insignificant correlations.
Second, total score of maladaptive emotion regulation strategies mediated partly the relationships between covert narcissism and internalized shame.
Third, because of covert narcissism and adaptive emotion regulation starategies showed insignificant correlations, adaptive emotion regulation strategies did not mediated the relationships between covert narcissism and internalized shame.
Finally, the limits and implications of the current study were discussed..
