    The skin is the largest organ of the integument system whose surface is closely related to many physiological and pathological conditions. The skin surface is closely related to functional status of the epidermis and dermis. The outermost surface of the skin shows characteristic pattern defined by small furrows are called micro-relief. The pattern of micro-relief changes according to physiological and pathological conditions of the skin. But, there is no data on health Korean skin micro-relief yet. This study presents some aspect of health Korean skin micro-relief from the twenties.
    The silicon replicas obtained from volar forearm, dorsum hand and finger were analyzed by dermoscopy and the profiles were accessed by stereoscopy. I measured width of furrow, depth of furrow and average areas of polygon of skin micro-relief with dermoscopy. The width, depth and density were measured on the profiles of sectioned silicon replica.
    Dermoscopic analysis revealed that female group has significant larger width of furrow and average of polygon in dorsum hand. But stereoscopic analysis showed that male group has a larger width of furrow in hand and deeper furrow in finger. The skin micro-relief showed different characteristics in measured variables. Results of this study result could be used as a basis of further skin research.
