상담자의 경력, 인지적 복잡성 및 정서적 복잡성이 타당화 능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 상담자의 특성 중에서 상담 경력, 인지적 복잡성, 정서적 복잡성이 상담 개입의 하나인 타당화 능력에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보는 데 목적이 있으며, 이를 통해 상담자 발달과 교육을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.
이를 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상담 경력, 인지적 복잡성 및 정서적 복잡성, 타당화 능력의 관계는 어떠한가? 둘째, 상담자의 상담 경력은 타당화 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 셋째, 상담자의 인지적 복잡성은 타당화 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 넷째, 상담자의 정서적 복잡성은 타당화 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 를 검증한다.연구대상은 현재 상담을 받고 있는 만18세 이상의 성인 내담자 114명(상담자 61명)이었으며, 측정도구는 상담자 특성을 알아보기 위해 인지적 복잡성 척도와 정서적 복잡성 척도를 사용하였고, 상담자의 타당화 능력을 알아보기 위해 타당화 능력 척도가 사용되었다.
자료는 SPSS 12.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 상담자의 경력, 인지적 및 정서적 복잡성과 타당화 능력 간 관계를 알아보기 위하여 상관분석을 하였으며, 상담자 경력과 인지적 복잡성 그리고 정서적 복잡성이 타당화에 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 상담 경력 및 상담 수퍼비전 수, 인지적 복잡성은 타당화 능력과 유의한 정적상관을 나타냈고 정서적 복잡성과는 상관을 보이지 않았다.
둘째, 상담자의 경력은 타당화 능력에 유의한 정적영향을 미쳤다.
셋째, 상담자의 인지적 복잡성은 타당화 능력에 유의한 정적영향을 미쳤다.
넷째, 상담자의 정서적 복잡성은 타당화 능력에 영향을 미치지 않았다.
이러한 결과는 상담자의 경력과 인지적 복잡성이 타당화 능력에 미치는 영향을 시사하는 것이다.
이러한 연구결과를 토대로 상담자 경력과 인지적 복잡성, 정서적 복잡성이 타당화 능력에 미치는 영향을 주는 점이 시사하는 바와 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of counselor's experience and cognitive complexity and emotional complexity on validation on focus of counselor's development. According to this, this study was to provide fundamental data for the counselor's guidance.
In order to accomplish this purpose, the following subjects were set up:
First, what are the relationships among the counselor experience, cognitive complexity, emotional complexity and Counselor's validation?
Second, what is the effect of the perceived counselor's experience on validation?
Third, what is the effect of the perceived counselor's cognitive complexity on validation?
Fourth, what is the effect of the perceived counselor's emotional complexity on validation?
For this study total 114 counseling cases (114 clients and 61 counselors) recruited and the Perceived validation scales, Cognitive complexity scales, Emotional complexity scales were used.
These data were analyzed using spss12.0. First, correlation and regression analysis was employed to examine whether perceived counselor's experience and Cognitive complexity, Emotional complexity predict validation.
The results of this study are as follows:
First, the correlation between counselor's experience, Counseling supervision, Cognitive complexity and Counselor's validation resulted in meaningful positive correlation while emotional complexity did not result in meaningful correlation.
Second, the perceived counselor's experience had meaningful positive effect on validation, especially on experience.
Third, the perceived counselor's Cognitive complexity had meaningful positive effect on validation.
Fourth, the perceived counselor's Emotional complexity had not meaningful effect on validation.
From the above results, the researcher learned that counselor' experience, Cognitive complexity and Counselor's validation have correlations each other, and counselor's experience and Cognitive complexity have influences on validation.
Based on these results of the study were discussed the implication of effects of Counselor experience, Cognitive complexity and Emotional complexity on counselor's validation, limits of this study and recommendations for further studies.
