This study is qualitative research about types, factors and resolution way of conflicts between special education teachers and parents. The types and the factors of the conflicts that special education teacher and parents have experienced appears variously. Data from 41 interviews(special education teacher 21 case, studendts' parents 20 case) were transcribed and analyzed.
In the case of types of conflicts, 5 types of conflicts were idendified by analyzing 88 items : atmosphere of school, special education service operation, integration education scene, curriculum operation, etc..
In the case of factors of conflicts, 10 factors of conflicts were found through doing abstract 228 meaning units about the factors of conflicts between special education teachers and parents. : discrepant views of a child or a child's need, a dearth of knowledge, information and experience about special education, service delivery system about special education , inappropriate special educatuin resources, difference of awareness about value, reciprocal power between teachers and parents, lack of communication, trust insufficiency between each other, active inexertion of school, parents' request enlargement, psychological special quality of parents, structural environmental problem.
In the case of resolution ways of conflicts, 10 ways were identified by analyzing 40 meaning units. : active effort (will) necessity of school, systematic improvement countermeasure preparation, active effort necessity of parents, support reinforcement necessity about parents, active effort (will) necessity of the Ministry of Education, teacher's upgrading the quality, active attitude (will) necessity of teacher, artfulness and relation improvement necessity with parents, support reinforcement necessity about teacher, etc..
Also from this study preceding research result and in-depth conversation result it referred to the mediation system of the United States with character and it presents a plan in about Korea model mediation model. This complements the limit of official lawful process of existing, it introduces new conflict resolution method in the problem solving center.
